I’ve been to the Panera Bread on Hayden Island a few times now with my two kids, and overall it’s a good spot when you want something a little fresher than regular fast food. The location is super convenient, right off the freeway and close to shopping, so it’s easy to stop by when we’re already in the area.
The restaurant itself is bright and clean, and I noticed staff staying on top of clearing tables, which I definitely appreciate with kids in tow. Ordering is simple, and the food usually comes out quickly (a big plus when you’ve got two hungry little ones).
The food is mostly what you’d expect from Panera—reliable and decent. My broccoli cheddar soup was the highlight, warm and creamy as always. The sandwich was good but the bread was a little on the dry side. My kids were happy with their mac and cheese and flatbread pizza, so that’s a win in my book. Portions aren’t huge, and prices feel a bit high for a casual lunch, but it’s still a healthier option compared to many others nearby.
Service is polite and efficient. Not overly friendly, but they fixed a small order mix-up quickly, which I appreciated.
Overall, this Panera is a reliable choice for a family lunch. It won’t blow you away, but it’s clean, convenient, and consistent.

Once again, an absence of common sense.
The manager told me she’s going to throw the hand sanitizer dispenser away. Why would you do that, in a restaurant where people eat with their hands? She didn’t care. They lost my business because of not caring about their customers.
Have gone here multiple times to get my order wrong. Always ask for extra onions never get them or my sides. Never going again.

I was in a hurry and Joe, the assistant manager who was covering the front came back and helped get my food ready and I got it in short order which really helped my day. She was great. Excellent service..

I ordered yogurt w bananas and a hot chocolate. They are supposed to tell you when it's available.
I waited for 15. They said they called my name but I was 3 feet from them in a booth, nope they didn't. Nor did they want to come to the counter. They were too busy talking to each other.
