Music level made it hard to communicate. Serve was good, but food was less than food-truck quality, but more expensive.

Not impressed by the food at all, and it was pretty costly. I ordered nachos and the crunch wrap. Both were not tasty and not worth the price. Very disappointed if I was you, I would stick to the basics and just go with tacos.

This place always it’s the spot. Best carne asada tacos in the vicinity, such a plus that it’s so easy to grab and go too!

I haven't had a variety of food here. I usually or probably always go for the birria tacos, which are delicious. The salsas offered are good. The rice and beans are also delicious, but is sold separately. The service is good but not outstanding. The atmosphere isn't particularly exciting. But that all goes to the wayside as far as I'm concerned when the food is good.

Papi Chulo’s Birria is on point, no joke. Great Chicken Burrito, Fish Tacos, Nachos, Cocktails, Cerveza, Yep. Weekends are busy. Large outdoor dining area. Both sauces are fab, and yes their guacamole is stellar! UPDATE: prices have gone up and the burritos have shrunk unfortunately. I was really disappointed to see how small my 15$ (tip) burrito was. I won’t be eating here as often anymore. Shrinkflation? I dunno…
Oh my gosh! This place deserves a 4.8 or above because it’s way better than another Mexican restaurant I just went to with a 4.6 stars. Really regret going to another Mexican food spot today with friends from out of town. I already forgot what their food tastes like, but Papi Chulo’s I can’t forget what their brrira tacos are amazing and my boyfriend can’t stop talking about their nacho fries. He said, “Oh yeh. It’s so good!” Would have been totally worth it to eat there two days in a row during our trip.

Great tasting asada tender juicy but still has some char. I loved the asada and highly recommend trying it yourself.

The carne asada tacos had all the right flavors, but $5 for a street taco size of this caliber is cruel and unusual.

I needed a last minute group order for our office so I walked over to Papi Chulo’s and ordered 40 tacos, 10 sides of beans, 10 sides of rice, and some guacamole. They quoted me 20-25 minutes and it was ready in 15. This was my first time visiting and I’ll definitely be back. Great food and amazing service!

The food was ok, the service needs to improve. The food is overpriced. Not sure why is very high on tipping, when the waiters Dont do anything, you need to grab your own water, salad etc.

The birria quesadillas here are life-changing. Just had a breakfast burrito and the chipotle mayo really brings it all together. A+ in every way. This place is killer. Feels like a coastal escape but in downtown!

Have tried many things here, birria, fish tacos, asada fries. Today we had breakfast burritos and we’re still sitting here just in awe. So tasty, always fresh. Love this spot.

We got the crunch wrap and a bean and cheese burrito. Both we're super delicious. We can't wait to come back and try more!
