50 minutes to produce a single deviled egg?! Did they have to chase down a feral chicken due to the egg shortage? lol, no, there’s just something horribly wrong here. It wasn’t even close to busy, just some new level of incompetence was being unlocked. Won’t be back, oh well…. It was a cute spot.

The good was the food and drinks. I enjoyed both and they had great flavor. However the detractor was the service. It was a Saturday at lunch time. We arrived around 12:30. Ordered everything, but one drink I wanted was out of stock. Ok, I ordered another drink. A few minutes later we ordered food. Then we are told that they are out of sourdough bread and it would be substituted. Again, no problem. Then we get told that they are out of deviled eggs. Alright, we ordered some extra food anyways. Then came the wait. It was an hour and a half before we got our food. Water was never refilled. Then the food came, except two of our dishes. 20 minutes later, we still had not received those dishes. I went and asked that they cancel those orders. I was told they were busy but they were not. I was not offered anything as an apology. Hopefully this was a one off experience, but I do not recommend coming here.

This place is exactly what you need. Feels like going to your fancy friend’s house with a warm fireplace, full bar of delicious cocktails, thoughtfully selected beer & wine, and unpretentious perfectly executed food. Brunch is fantastic, they were out of biscuits one day and the chef whipped us up an amazing potato bowl with gravy cheese, eggs and toast. It’s our go to neighborhood spot!

The staff was nice, but I was really off put by how long it took me to get my food. Never got his name but the guy cooking my food was talking with a customer for 15-17 minutes before he even started cooking my food. Saw the whole thing.
The lady at the counter was nice but I had to ask for a roll of silverware instead of it being brought to me.
