This happened on the 9th of Nov 2024 but the interaction is still stuck in my head. I went to collect a pickup order. A blonde white man with an arrogant annoyed expression was at the pickup station. No response to hello. I told him I was here to pickup my order. There was exactly ONE(1) pickup order in a bag behind him. He asked me my name, I told him. Its an ethnic name, so I had to tell him a couple times. He got even more annoyed. I spelled it out for him, nothing. I showed him my view of doordash, and told him it was the tagliatelle. He was mad that the doordash app's order receipt didn't contain my name. Well ofcourse it didn't, what can I possibly do about that. I again attempted to tell him what my name was and eventually with a disgusted look on his face he reached for the brown bag half a feet away and handed it to me like he was doing an enormous favour donating the food I paid in full for to me. Just the worst type of human being.
The pasta itself was mediocre and barely had any meat.
By the way I never have this kind of trouble picking up my order from any restaurant in America. Sometimes people have trouble understanding which is totally normal but they're very polite and get it as soon as I spell it out or show them my pickup app dashboard.
So if you're a person of color wanting to experience racism, go ahead and give this place a shot. It's clearly a pattern, I've seen a couple other reviews mention this and I'm willing to bet its the same person.

It's affordable, but certainly the last time I take food recommendations from my hotel valet guy.

Ordered Take Out.
Picked up exactly at the the time (8:10pm) that we requested. We were staying at the hotel across the street. Food was cold and we did not have access to a microwave to heat is up. Needless to say cold Ravioli was not very appetizing so we threw the 2 dishes away. We also ordered a side Garlic bread and instead just received a tiny cold room temperature roll like you’d receive at your table when sitting down. Not sure why this would be called garlic bread since it clearly wasn’t.
The food was bland, the meatballs were decent however the cheese ravioli left quite a bit to be desired, even the couple bites that we took before tossing. Maybe it was the fact we picked up just before closing but I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.
Only positive was food was cooked quickly after ordering and no waiting at any point,

I ordered the spaghetti with spicy sausage. It was flavorless and had maybe a tablespoon of meat in the dish. Lots of tomato chunks though
There were no utensils included. I had to ask for both utensils and seasonings from the front desk
I ordered this via Door Dash to a hotel. It came with zero utensils. Easy enough to deal with at the hotel. The quality though…
This was like hospital food. Not awful. But also. I wouldn’t pay more than $6 for this.
Unfortunately, I did for this.

Earlier today my boyfriend and I drove an hour to eat at this pastini as we have done many times. Pastini is my favorite restaurant and I was looking forward to this all day. When we were seated, we both ordered moscow mules and handed our ID’s to the waitress. She proceeded to take my ID to the back for 10 minutes to “check it out”. Finally, someone other than our waitress returned with my ID and informed me the waitress didn’t feel comfortable serving me because my ID picture wasn’t perfectly centered. The waitress didn’t even have the guts to come out herself and was hiding in the kitchen (which was even more confusing because we had been very polite to her during our 10 second interaction). I was very confused as I have gotten drinks from pastini multiple times and have never even noticed my ID picture was very slightly to the left. This was very embarrassing and disappointing since everyone was looking over at us. I’ve never experienced this before and my ID was in fact real. They never mentioned they thought it was fake but only said she wasn’t comfortable with my face not being perfectly centered. Me and my boyfriend returned our menus and politely left, we even thanked them and wished her a good day. This ruined my day and my opinion of this restaurant so I figured writing this review would make me feel better.

The chicken Alfredo was very buttery barely any Alfredo sauce very unacceptable and I will never purchase again from this restaurant.

Lovely spot for people with gluten allergies-although not officially celiac safe! They were able to essentially sub gluten free noodles in almost all of their pasta dishes. I got a spicy shrimp dish with gluten free spaghetti, which was rather tasty! It was even better when my order came out with a pick that indicated that it was gluten free, reassuring me that the kitchen did in fact sub the noodles. I would definitely recommend this place for people with gluten sensitivities who are looking for some decent Italian food! My coworkers (who can eat gluten) also thought the food was great and that their alcoholic drinks were fantastic.

Food was phenomenal but the server seemed impatient with me while I tried to order. They were wearing a face mask and mumbling their words, so I couldn’t understand them nor read their lips.
Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free pasta!

I stopped here for a solo dinner on an Monday evening. I was seated immediately at a 4 top, which was nice because I had brought some work with me. The server was extremely friendly, answered all of my questions, and verified my food allergy concerns with the kitchen. The food was fine, nothing to write home about, but I had a good experience and the service was stellar.

Server was nice and food came out pretty quick. Parmesan bread was really good and so was the marinara dipping sauce that came with it. My spaghetti aglio e olio was extremely bland and didn’t taste like anything. Just watery and oily. Had to ask for a side of Parmesan to make it taste like something. Bread was the best part of the meal, definitely not the pasta. And my boyfriend’s spicy spaghetti with sausage was just okay.
