Alfredo not good

We recently dined at Pastini Pasta and had an overall positive experience. The wait time to get a table was reasonable for holiday weekend and once seated, our food came out in a timely manner, which we really appreciated.

I especially want to highlight the hostess, Miles, who was absolutely amazing. They were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. Even when our server wasn’t very present throughout the meal, Miles really stepped in and made sure we were taken care of. Their service truly made a difference in our experience.

As for the food, it was good but not exceptional. The pasta itself was solid, but the pasta sauce and the fettuccine sauce served with the garlic bread were more liquidy than saucy, which took away a bit from the overall flavor and texture we were expecting.

That said, between the smooth seating process, reasonable food timing, and especially the outstanding hospitality from Miles, we left feeling satisfied. I’d return and hope for the same level of front-of-house service again!

Would have been a fine experience of getting it to go ordered here if someone would have actually paid attention to who is at the front door.

Kind of busy. I get it. Maybe some staffing problems. I saw my order sitting on the counter. Fully done for almost half hour. Asked about it. They said that that was a doordash order and then one of the other ladies walks by picks it up and says my name. So when I get my surprise meal for my friend who really wanted pastini's totally cold. At the end of it, the way they made me feel of being a gatekeeper on my food for almost half hour really made me feel worse. From now on I'll drive across town. Go to the southeast one or the one in Beaverton.

I’m not even done eating and I needed to come here and say WOW. Amazingly delicious food. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo is simple and basic and just perfect in every way. The Parmesan they use is top tier. The veggies even came with lots of flavor that is so rare anymore in restaurants . They never use more than butter and salt. These had FLAVOR. Highly recommend this place. I haven’t had pasta this good since Europe!

Pastini offers a solid experience every time. We’ve probably been to at least four of their locations a total of at least a dozen times. Good food at good prices.

XMAS Dessert was great as I tried the Poached Pear that is marinated in red wine & seasonal spices. This sweet has become my new favorite dessert. Definitely worth the experience.

Don't miss the lunch specials $13.99 11-3pm weekdays.
That's about what you pay for a something quick and not tasty at a downtown food cart.

The atmosphere here is very pleasant. Even when the restaurant is busy, the dishes are prepared very quickly. The dishes are very tasty. I like this place.

I recently dined at Pastini, and overall the experience was mixed. From the outside, the restaurant does not come across as a chain, and I initially assumed it was an independent neighborhood Italian spot. Because of that, my expectations going in were a bit higher. Once inside, however, the atmosphere and menu felt more along the lines of a casual, chain-style Italian restaurant, similar in feel to Olive Garden rather than a more authentic or chef-driven dining experience.

The menu offers a wide selection of familiar Italian dishes, and the restaurant itself is clean and comfortable, making it a reasonable option for families or casual dining. Unfortunately, the execution during this visit fell short. My food arrived lukewarm to cold, which was disappointing and immediately impacted the overall experience. Italian food, especially pasta, really needs to be served hot to be enjoyable, and that wasn’t the case here.

Service was another challenge. Our waitress was polite and clearly doing her best, but she appeared overwhelmed. It felt like she may have been covering too many tables at once, which led to slower attention and a less attentive experience overall. While I don’t fault the staff personally, it did affect the quality of the visit.

Overall, Pastini may work well for those looking for a predictable, casual Italian meal with familiar flavors, especially if expectations are set accordingly. However, based on this visit, it didn’t stand out in terms of food quality or service. With better attention to food temperature and improved staffing or pacing, the experience could be much better. As it stands, it felt more like a dependable chain restaurant than the independent Italian spot it appears to be from the outside.

This is my favorite pasta place to eat. My absolute favorite dish is fettuccine Alfredo add their grilled shrimp and a side of grilled asparagus

We ordered the linguine Misto + the spicy shrimp fettuccine and it was wonderful( great quality and perfect portions, not too much, not too little). Great for the price- it was our first time and Gracie was absolutely an amazing waitress. Loved the vibe and the fact it has an actual parking lot. 10/10 will be here again for a date night ( great blood orange margarita as well)

I loved, loved, loved this place. We stayed at the Paramount hotel across the way for one night, and I am so glad we came here out of all the area’s choices. I had the linguini with shrimp scampi, which was so lemony and delicious. I want to return. My daughter had ravioli and we shared a tiramisu that absolutely agreed with my taste buds - just a dash of sweet (in a current world where everything is overly sweet). The wine and bread were very good, atmosphere was excellent, just small enough to be comfortable, and food was fast. Very well done!

Perfect place for lunch and people watching. The lunch menu was plentiful. We each had a cocktail, so the final bill included those, but overall I'd say it was priced properly. I would for sure return to Pastini again.
