Im from the east coast and good sandwich spots are not common here. Pasture PDX is quickly becoming my go to. Theyre super consistent and their flavors are unique and memorable. No matter how full I am, Im always craving the next sando right after I finish my current one. Cant go wrong.

For the cookie alone, this place deserves 5 stars.

These sandwiches are incredible. I had the COG. My husband had a classic. You order from a kiosk. Atmosphere inside is airly and friendly. Tables can fill up but there’s usually window spots on high stools. There are a few spots outside. The sandwiches are big. Mine was two meals worth. Although, it was so delicious, I ate the second half about an hour later.

Incredible sandwiches, top notch ingredients, great atmosphere. Portions are huge…had the grind and a bag chips at 2 pm today and won’t need to eat for the rest of the day.

Bravo to you all!!

Had the Grind, and my wife had the OG. The pickled veggies were on point, and the soup was excellent. All the ingredients tasted fresh and flavorful, and the sandwich size was impressive. They were not stingy with their offerings. Looking forward to going back.

Really awesome sandwiches with thoughtful combinations of ingredients. Everything really tastes fresh. There's lemon habanero hot sauce on the side. The serving is huge, they even have deliverete spillover of vegetables so you can balance out your bites. It's perfect.

--- snacks ---

- little bitter for me
- would ask for the contents next time, the raddicio was overly bitter for me

The Grind ⭐⭐⭐
- what you expect
- really good bread tho

❤️COG ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- sour and a little spicy, I loved it
- juicy chicken

- I adore the crunch

❤️Nicholle ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- loved it, super basic but so well executed
- the mustard is good
- the basic-ness lets the bread shine
- this is my favorite

Ruben ⭐⭐⭐✨
- just ok to me
- think I just don't love pastrami
- partner thought it was a 5 star sandwich though

- I really like the cabbage
- like it more than the cog surprisingly
- good balance of acidity, cuts through the red meat
- like the banana peppers
- love the cilantro
- peppery sort of

Cubano ⭐⭐⭐
- liked the lettuce but wouldn't order again
- one person said it was too chewy
- my partner said it wasn't his favorite one

Hands down the best sandwich shop in Portland, by far. My top three options:

1. COG
2. Torro
3. Nicholle

The cookie lights up my brain!

Picked up the OG, thought it was good, the chilli oil makes it pretty messy. I loved the vibe of the restaurant, although it's kiosk ordering and parking can be challenging. Wish I liked the sandwich more. Service is limited to bringing out your food.

We ordered the Cubano and Toro for pickup. The sandwiches were ready within less than 10mins and they were incredible. The Toro is definitely one I will be coming back for!

If you have allergies or intolerances use extreme caution here. I am quite egg intolerant and got a sandwich with aioli which wasn’t a listed component on the printed menu.

The staff was quite rude when I asked about it. They blamed it on me for not noticing that it was listed on the ordering kiosk but not the printed menu. Thanks bud, I’m writing this from the toilet.

These sandwiches are flavor bombs! Got the OG and the Cubano. Bread was super fresh and crusty but still soft enough to enjoy as sandwich bread. All ingredients are made on premises and it really shows. The pastrami in the OG was so tender and juicy I am still dreaming of it!

Insanely overpriced for what you’re getting. Let’s talk about it …
$17 per sandwich

The OG is a pastrami sandwich made in the “style” of a Banh Mi. Nothing about the sandwich is even close to a Banh Mi. I’ll look past that… sandwich had an overwhelming amount of pickled veggies that were just way too sour and the chili oil is just taking over the whole dish. I really want to like this place and hope I just had a bad batch of pickled veggies.

The hot Grind is much more pleasant. My only complaint how stingy they are with the Pastrami

The Lemon Haberno sauce offered just makes these sour sandwiches even more sour.

Did not have the most pleasant greeting with staff/owner either. I took it Togo to eat right outside. I asked the owner if they had any Togo containers so I could try out some sauce. They are running a business with no Togo sauce containers?
