I’m a huge lover of cookies and dessert. I was very excited to try PDX Cookies during my time in Portland. Sadly, the gluten free chocolate chip cookie was not very impressive. Very sweet, with almost an undercooked feel (yet it was fully baked). Quite doughy. Also, the environment felt cluttered and there were very few chairs or tables to sit at, due to things being strewn about a bit. It was a surprising and striking setting amidst other modern, creative, clean, and highly unique Portland desserts shops.

cutest place ever they gave out two different kinds of cookie samples and their cookies were perfect nice and soft crispy on the outside big and fluffy but what really hooked me was a cookie dough it was kind of sweet, but that’s the point so I loved it. They surprisingly weren’t very busy and I’m not sure why because this place is excellent, but I’m so excited to go back.

Conflicted over these cookies. Not my definition of fresh baked. The chocolate chip one is good if you like the taste of cookie dough, which I do. I'm just not overly impressed and there are better options. I bought two and didn't finish either. i won't be rushing back but I also wouldn't turn it down. 🤷🏻

I never give five star reviews, but I wanted to give a high one for this place because not only were the cookies delicious and tasted as described, the service from B was seven out of five stars. Super enthusiastic about the cookies and the business and friendly. You don’t get that a lot these days it feels like. Also, I’m pretty sure her idea for a Count Chocula Halloween cereal cookie is the right move for the month of October 2025 just saying

Eva was amazing — so quick to whip up a cookie cake for us, and she did it with such a cheerful attitude! It was a fun and delicious surprise for the birthday boy, and everyone loved it. If your loved one isn’t a fan of traditional cake, this is the perfect alternative. Just a tip: go easy on the extra flavors, as it was quite sweet. I’ll definitely be a returning customer!

I think u might be supposed to cook these cookies before u eat them, because i took a bite and it tasted pretty uncooked? But maybe they just need to clarify whether or not they are supposed to be reheated? There was free samples which was nice but the atmosphere of the shop made me feel like I was fried and not in a very nice way so that’s why I rated it that way- I just was wondering whether or not I should have cooked them first?
