Absolutely loved this pelmeni spot. You can tell the food is made with love and passion. I haven’t had pelmeni dressed the way they made them and very much liked it. The sweet and the savory. The savory ones were so so good. The sweet ones were extra tasty but the quantity is large so make sure to have someone to share with :)

Hands down my favorite food cart. Slavic foods are an extreme rarity in Portland and it's great finding a place that gets it right.
Really, really good. Warm, filling, and fresh. I got the potato vareniki and it was so delicious — topped with a tomatoey sauce, sour cream, and fresh dill. The dumplings were perfectly chewy and soft, and the whole dish was delivered steaming hot. The woman was also very kind. Never had anything quite like it — I will definitely be back!

I'm in PDX on a work trip and when I saw there was a Ukrainian restaurant I knew I HAD to try it. My partner is Ukrainian so I've had his homemade vareniki and borsch before but we don't have any restaurants in my home state so I was VERY excited. It was absolutely delicious! My vareniki was seriously the highlight, like CHEFS KISS. The employees were kind and overall I just had a great experience :)
Tried the Potato Vareniki — they were light, soft, and melt-in-your-mouth tasty. Service was very fast.
Nothing mind-blowing, but a good, comforting bite if you're craving dumplings or something quick and satisfying.
