The dumplings are made with so much love, and the borst is sooo flavorful and fresh. Perfect for a summer night’s dinner. The staff is incredibly warm, too. Already looking forward to going back🩵💛
Wisdom teeth versus food: it's a battle I'm currently losing. Eating has become a painful mission... until I found this place and their *life-changing* pelmeni. Seriously, these aren't just dumplings; they're edible clouds of joy. The dough? Silky smooth, dissolving on your tongue like a sweet dream. The filling? A symphony of savory flavors, so comforting and perfectly balanced it made my tastebuds sing! Absolutely zero effort required – just close your eyes and savor the deliciousness. If you're suffering from mouth misery or just desperately seeking the ultimate comfort food experience, treat yourself to these. Trust me, your jaw and your tastebuds will send you thank-you notes.

First time having pelmeni since visiting Russia, fairly authentic and very delicious. Only wish I could have tried the hot sauce since I ordered to-go.

Absolutely loved this pelmeni spot. You can tell the food is made with love and passion. I haven’t had pelmeni dressed the way they made them and very much liked it. The sweet and the savory. The savory ones were so so good. The sweet ones were extra tasty but the quantity is large so make sure to have someone to share with :)

Hands down my favorite food cart. Slavic foods are an extreme rarity in Portland and it's great finding a place that gets it right.

Really, really good. Warm, filling, and fresh. I got the potato vareniki and it was so delicious — topped with a tomatoey sauce, sour cream, and fresh dill. The dumplings were perfectly chewy and soft, and the whole dish was delivered steaming hot. The woman was also very kind. Never had anything quite like it — I will definitely be back!

These dumplings are amazing. I usually get the chicken dumplings. Toss your dumplings around and spread the toppings & tomato sauce evenly for best taste!

I'm in PDX on a work trip and when I saw there was a Ukrainian restaurant I knew I HAD to try it. My partner is Ukrainian so I've had his homemade vareniki and borsch before but we don't have any restaurants in my home state so I was VERY excited. It was absolutely delicious! My vareniki was seriously the highlight, like CHEFS KISS. The employees were kind and overall I just had a great experience :)

Tried the Potato Vareniki — they were light, soft, and melt-in-your-mouth tasty. Service was very fast.
Nothing mind-blowing, but a good, comforting bite if you're craving dumplings or something quick and satisfying.

I like this place 😁
One of the few business in Oregon advertising to be anti-queer, anti-abortion, and “anti-woke” whatever that means. Disgusting.

Solid pelmeni. But $16 for a “large” but actually quite a small bowl is a little insane. I suggest going to nearby Eastern European grocery stores and buying them in bulk instead.
