My wife is GF and DF, and we've eaten baked goods all across the country from LA to NYC... Petunias is the best we've had. Super friendly staff too.

Petunias is the only cake we will drive 3 hours for and return back in a day. Their gluten free desserts - especially their celebration cake - are amazing, you literally wouldn’t know it doesn’t have gluten or dairy except that you feel amazing after you eat their delicacies. The Petunia’s team is incredible, they go above and beyond to take care of special orders, Lisa is so kind and made sure that my order for my bonus daughters bday cake was done in time for us to pick it up! I love you, Petunia's!Dietary restrictions: The best for gluten free desserts!

When you can only eat gluten free you RARELY get a gem like this! Lots of pastries and goodies as well as ice cream. Owner was very sweet. They have wine, beer, coffee and tea. Larger to go options are available.

I was so excited to go here, but was really disappointed in their savory food options. I was hoping to order the cheddar scone breakfast sandwich but they were out of 'egg' and 'sausage.' The employee said the had tempeh bacon and 'cheese' so I went for a scone with that, however the scone tasted terrible, like an item that had been sitting uncovered in a fridge that had absorbed all kinds of weird smells. It had no true flavor. I was starving and ate part of it, hoping was I'd had a few bites that tasted decent but it just got grosser. I ended up calling on my way home once I realized just how dissatisfied I was. I asked for a credit and the woman said that absolutely wasn't possible. I'd have to drive all the way back downtown and pay for parking and then she could over me a different item. I said I couldn't do that. She had an attitude and told me I should have said something right away. Yes I should have, but you should also not be so petty and try to take care of a customer who at least called to give feedback. I called an hour later. You don't have to scold me for not enjoying complaining and trying to make it work at first. Better late than never to give feedback but she was rude and shut me down for a small credit. Not a great front of house manager Shantay!

This review is long overdue! Petunia's has the BEST plant-based mac and cheese I've ever had, hands down. It has a really savory, delicious flavor without a sweet edge like other plant-based mac and cheeses sometimes have. Also to die for: cinnamon coffee cake!!The staff there are always wonderful and make everyone feel welcome. So happy to have this place near my office and home!! ?

Great, just like all my previous visits. Felicia was there and helpful as always. We ordered a bunch of GF Vegan pastries to go and had their sausage biscuit there. Love this breakfast sandwich.. but don't forget to ask for their mushroom gravy to go with it.. so delicious! We'll be back when we come into town.

The marionberry pie was delicious, and I was surprised to learn afterwards that it was gluten-free. Will definitely be recommending to my gluten free friends.

I stopped in and grabbed a buster bar to go at the recommendation of the cashier (I was torn between this and the thin mint brownie - the cakes looked great but I needed something more portable). I think that I had thought it would be a smooth fudgy consistency the whole way through, but underneath the layers of chocolate ganache and nut butter (I think peanut, but I didn’t actually check so it could’ve been something similar) was a crunchy oat layer. If I had looked closely enough to realize this I probably would’ve gone with the brownie, but this was objectively a great dessert bar, just not what I was feeling at the time. Nonetheless I appreciated the recommendation! I did really enjoy how smooth and balanced the chocolate was. Unfortunately I was just a visitor, but I’d definitely want to try more from them if I lived in Portland!I will point out again that they’re vegan and gluten-free since lots of people seemed to miss that even though it’s on their signage. I’m glad I found a place to get a vegan treat, and it’s nice that they’re accessible to people who have to eat GF even though that’s not something I need or necessarily prefer.

I love the chocolate sprinkle babycakes!

Absurdly delicious pastries. The texture of the cakes is phenomenal, the flavors are distinct and well crafted, the icing is rich. My favorite flavors (so far) are the lemon blackberry poppyseed and red velvet babycakes, with the chocolate cake/pink vanilla icing following very close behind. The Mac & Cheese is also great! The prices are good, the store is clean, the staff is very personable, highly recommend!!Vegetarian options: All vegan and gluten free menuDietary restrictions: All vegan and gluten free menu

Your search for delicious gluten-free goods has ended. Congratulations! My non-Celiac family love everything we’ve ever had here. I stock staples like English muffins, biscuits, and rolls in the freezer to always have on hand. The desserts are perfect! I love ordering treat boxes for school staff appreciation to make sure even GF staff get something special. So convenient to order for parties and holidays, too!
