Mister

Is the Fremont location still open? Well!?

It breaks my heart that you have been shut down because of pettiness, the happiness you guys gave me for years is so warming and i want to thank you for being there on cold nights i needed warm pho and tea to make my tastebuds sing.

Please bring Phô Gabo on Fremont back! I love it, I live up the street, and ONE PERSON shouldn't be allowed to shut a business permanently. I miss the Crab Udon, and have missed it for weeks now. It is absolutely incomparable to others.

5 stars all around!!! You are greeted with authentic flavors and cultural richness. Amidst a city lacking in genuine cultural experiences, this culinary oasis stands out, offering not just a meal, but a journey through Vietnamese cuisine. From the aromatic broth to the fresh herbs and tender meats, each spoonful tells a story of tradition and passion. It's more than just a dining experience; it's a celebration of culture in a city craving authenticity.

This place has had reliably good, delicious, wholesome Vietnamese food. When I went today to grab some salad rolls, I saw this picture posted. I can’t believe this.

My review is based on a limited experience. Went for lunch, I had only the Salad Rolls and my companion had the Tofu Noodle Bowl with Crispy Rolls. Both items were prepared with spectacular presentation and ample in portion. Both were delicious as well.

Ordered large pho, didn't receive basil, jalapeños, bean sprouts, lime, sri racha, even though i asked. just meat and noodles. tendon was hard. broth needed salt. not good at all.

Ordered phò with various meats. Broth was uninspired, sach (tripe) wasn"t soft. Glad I didn't order it with tendon. Undercooked tendon is like eating hard rubber.Vietnamese coffee, which should be freshly made IMNSHO, was prepared ahead of time and refrigerated.I don't think they've cleaned the tables thoroughly in a while. Makes me concerned about food safety.Unlikely to return.

This is the only y restaurant I found having the best "bún riêu" in Portland so far. They do have all toppings a I never ever can finish it. The toppings are huge and flavorful They do have other locations but this is the best one

Crazy good. Highly recommend

Their Pho broth is very flavorful. My current favorite in town is their Filet Mignon Noodle Pho & their Vietnamese Iced Coffee with Condensed Milk.

This authentic Vietnamese restaurant captures the essence of Vietnamese cuisine, and its rendition of bo nhung dam is exceptional. The thinly sliced beef, served with an array of fresh herbs and flavorful dipping sauces, creates a delightful interactive dining experience. The balance of flavors and textures in each bite reflects the restaurant's commitment to authenticity. The ambiance is casual diner style with friendly service.

This is our neighborhood Pho joint, but being in this neighborhood, there are about 8 other good choices, so it's saying a lot that this is our favorite! I think a lot of people could argue best Pho in portland based on what they like, and I would put Pho Gabo up there in top 5 on their broth alone, but won't crown best Pho in portland. But I will put it out there that this is THE BEST Vermicelli bowls (Bun Dac Biet) in Portland. There I said it. I dare a challenger to present another :) I have tried a lot of them. At Pho Gabo they are large, lots of perfectly grilled crisp meat (we prefer lemongrasss chicken and pork), Tons of crunch from the veggies and crushed peanuts, and great balanced dressing. Top it off with Spice to your liking from the condiments. My 2nd favorite thing is to make a Vietnamese French dip and order a Banh Mi and a large bowl of beef broth. I'm hungry just thinking about it! Inside it is nothing special to look at, and don't let the bars on the windows scare you. They are warm inside and happy to serve you.

This is one of the few locations that has bò né (jumping beef with eggs) so I appreciate it. Would prefer more pate with that dish and I did not think the veggies (tomatoes, cucumbers) went well with it so I would recommend to probably could cut those out and decrease the price. Otherwise, food was overall good. My partner got bun bo hue and he liked that!Bò né: 4/5Bún bò Huế: 4.5/5
