I loved the place, it was super cozy and the food was delicious. The matcha was just right and they have a great atmosphere, with large tables that make it easy to strike up conversations with strangers

I would add a picture with my review but I ate it all. They are quick for food that is made in kitchen and service is really nice. I always love getting a breakfast/lunch before or during work from them. I always love the crispy chicken bento!
Great vibes, great food. Can get a little crowded depending when you go. I pretty regularly stop by for some of their excellent karaage w/ sides of teriyaki and lime aioli
Cozy coffee shop with great service! Visiting from out of town and looking forward to our next time we get to come here!

the food was not good :( $13 orange chicken bento was mostly just breading, not actual chicken and a very small portion for the price. my partner found a hair in the dipping sauce container for the dumplings, and our friends hawaiian bento was covered in so much mayo he couldn’t eat it

A small group of us come to Phat Cart about once a week to have dinner - the food is delicious, the drinks are beautiful and tasty, and the service is stellar! A smaller space but a mighty experience!

Phat Cart Review
Phat Cart is a popular food truck known for its bold and delicious Asian fusion street food. The menu offers a variety of creative dishes, from flavorful bao buns to spicy noodles and savory rice bowls. Ingredients are fresh, and the seasoning hits just the right balance of spicy, sweet, and savory. Portions are generous and satisfying. The vibe is casual and fun, perfect for a quick, tasty bite on the go. A great choice for fans of inventive, crave-worthy street eats.

I got an egg for 3$ extra and it was completely raw inside that it just broke when I tried picking it up:( it was also cold
I got a sandwich and a Hawaiian bento. The sandwich is decidedly not worth $12. Unseasoned avocado mashed and spread on untoasted bread with unseasoned creme cheese along with unseasoned eggs. The spinach was okay but the bacon wasn't crispy.
The bento is better quality but the effects of the economy are apparent in these prices. I would not go back here based on price and I definitely would not recommend the sandwiches, not their speciaty.
I was going to go to the bagel shop next door but this place caught my eye. Next time, I'll stick to my original plan.

Phat Cart is such a great spot near Portland State University! The Orange Chicken was incredible - perfectly crispy, coated in a flavorful orange glaze, and topped with fresh orange slices that added a nice touch. I also got a Thai Iced Tea, which was super creamy, refreshing, and went perfectly with the meal. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Definitely one of the best places to grab a meal near PSU.
