The worst overall dining experience that I have ever had. A great candidate for Kitchen nightmares. I ordered a combination plate for $17. It was a small plate with tiny deep fried wonton and 2 tiny overcrispy deep fried spring rolls. When the food came out I was confused, is this what I ordered? We tried them and were disgusted. I could only imagine how long these poor quality wontons had been sitting in an open bag in the freezer covered in frost before being deep fried to a hard crunchy inedible bite. I told the server that they were bad and returned them. The "chef" came over and angrily asked what the problem was. I explained that they were overcooked and not what I thought I was ordering. He said that we would have to pay for half of it since we tried it. He never offered to bring anything else. As we shared an $18 pathetic bowl over vermicelli noodles with lettuce, he paced back and forth giving us dirty looks and angrily walking outside to smoke. I finally went up to pay and he charged me for the food that I didn't eat. He then followed me outside and glared at me as I drove away while hepuffed angrily on his vape pen. We both got food poisoning.

Worst restaurant ever. Depressing atmosphere. Nonexistent service. Inedible food. This is the only time I have ever had to just get up and leave a restaurant without paying.
I ordered the Bahn Mi sandwich. It was a large stale roll with a pile of shredded carrots inside, no meat to be found. Assuming there had been a mistake, I went to the counter to get it corrected, but the manager dug through the pile of carrots to find two tiny pieces of pork, probably less than one ounce, and she insisted that this was normal. I left and will never return.

Fried rice was $17 and see pic below for what you get. Didnt taste great either. Feeling a bit ripped off. Not worth the price in my opinion.

Seems to have gone downhill, the bun was not as pictured in the menu and tasted like it was made from cheap ingredients. The meat was very thin.

I went to Pho 39 today and got the shrimp pho I asked for an extra side of vegetables. He said it would be an extra five dollars, when I got home the vegetables were not in the bag. I called the restaurant he told me he doesn’t know what the people do with the food once they leave and I believe my cooks and would not fix the issue or give a refund for the over priced extra charge. I ended the conversation very nicely. He called me back and didn’t apologize. Said “let me be clear when you order pho it comes with one bag of vegetables. I ended the call again. Why would you call a customer back to call them a lier?? Horrible experience will never go back

Best pho in Portland and the family who owns it is so nice! Their door keeps getting smashed, but don't let that stop you.

Do not eat here! Place is filthy and smells like sewer so strong you'll gag. It was completely empty on a Saturday afternoon for a reason. Against my better judgment I ordered pot stickers. I was brought a plate of frozen tiny pot stickers from Target they fried hard. I immediately cancel my orders of Pho. Both owners were so outrageously rude I was in shock. I was told to never come back. Don't worry, sir hahaha I went to Lua's and had a magnificent lunch. Good luck to you.

The bahn mi was flavorful, but it was put unwrapped in a brown paper bag. It was falling apart by the time I got home. It was a little dirty in the restaurant and the entrance is not welcoming. I appreciate how quick it was and the food was decent.

WOW. I was not expecting this out of a sandwich. I felt the world fall way from me with every bite of the BBQ Beef sandwich, the eggrolls, the dip. The savory and the sweet. Amazing, fresh vegetables and natural seasoning that compliments every bite. You can taste the care! Thanks for rocking my world ?

The tofu banh mi bread was chewy and not fresh, the tofu was over cooked, not much veggie or sauce. This was pretty blah unfortunately. Maybe I'll try the pho next time.

Before you even walk in, you know you're about to get some good food. And we did! I am not Viet but my friend I went with is and she told me the atmosphere reminds her of shops in Vietnam. The food was delicious, I have never eaten so much pho in one sitting!! I barely had anything to take home! Thai iced tea was soooooo yummy too. My friend got the lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl which she happily munched on too. Our server was so friendly and kind to us. Highly recommend ❤️
