Unfortunately, pine state just doesn’t make the cut for me. I travel from Oregon to California fairly often and yet to meet a biscuit and gravy spot better than beachin biscuits ( sister restaurant is butter + milk) is central California. (we got the mushroom gravy and biscuit, and regular gravy and biscuit + fried egg). Biscuits are sad and dry, and the gravy isn’t very rich. The mushroom gravy was interesting, tasted like a cream of mushroom soup, but had more of a gravy...
Great little breakfast spot! Food was very good! The pancake was different, came with cold butter and cold syrup and the pancake wasnt quite hot enough to melt the butter...thats just nit picking though. The true star was the biscuit. Delicious and fluffy!
Amazing place!!! I loved it!

The staff are welcoming and helpful! The menu has a variety of items. There’s something for anyone. For sure, you gotta have their biscuits. I got the McIsley which is a biscuit sandwich, it includes fried chicken, pickles, mustard, and honey!

I had no expectations when I got my food, but when I took the first bite, I was amazed by how tasty the sandwich was. The biscuit itself is perfectly done, fluffy and melts...
