We've had multiple meals here and haven't had any issues, love the food, and service has been mediocre or good. Today we had a horrible experience with multiple staff members.
I ordered through doordash as I have before for pickup, and at the time of order, the estimate said "25-35 minutes for pickup." we arrived 30 minutes later to pick up, and they said "you're 30 minutes early." Ok, sure, apparently they updated this as soon as they actually accepted the order. we came back 30 minutes later, and got back home with our order, and one item was made incorrectly (ordered fries, got Cajun fries), and the Reggie Deluxe was fully missing from the order. we called, they offered to make it if we came back, or refund. we went back to pick up the missing sandwich, and asked if they were able to make it better in any way, such as a free item, they said they were unable. when we called back after that, the woman who answered said "we didn't give you the free poptart because you were rude," and then hung up. we called back again, since that is beyond terrible customer service, and got the manager this time; they apologized and offered to refund. by the end of the call, they realized they couldn't actually refund anything because it was through doordash. we will not be returning any time soon, if ever. The food is actually consistently really good, and we live in the neighborhood.

I had a good experience at first until i got my hot cocoa and it was not hot but on the cold/warm
Side and i got into a to go cup while sitting here but thats fine but when i asked the food runner if it was supposed to be served warm or hot. She seems to have her period and told me straight up. I am condiciending asking that to her… while just asking a simple question. First and last time here! Very bad impression.. maybe due to my color of skin
Seems like she was the manager not the food runner. Oh one last thing i was sitting at my table with a friend and i was laughing when she passed by and took it personally and wanted to kick me out bc she didnt like the fact that i was laughing with my friend some a reason or another. Its kinda sad portland eatery services. Other than that cashier very nice, busser amazing, great food runner friendly. Just that manager standing there with power trip issue

The best biscuits & gravy I've ever had! My family got a few different types of their breakfast sandwiches and they were all amazing! I can't wait to find a time to stop back in here because it was that good! Highly recommend for a quick and delicious breakfast!

I am updating my review to reflect that the manager, Candi, is excellent at her job!! I did not expect such a fast and genuine response to my previous review, and her effort make up for that experience is greatly appreciated. We will be back :)

Not sure if it’s a staff or business model change, but the service here has become abysmal. If you don’t do dine-in after a certain time, don’t tell us we are welcome to sit on the patio and then bring us food in to go boxes - we ordered what we did specifically expecting to be able to eat off a plate. The “bruh” working the cash register was super rude, and even after tipping 20% poured mimosas that were 97% OJ.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but as someone who worked for years actually waiting tables and other service industry jobs, the sheer attitude and lack of care is truly disappointing. The biscuits ain’t worth it.

The restaurant looks nice but that being said. All the food came out cold. Biscuits and gravy were ice cold, hashbrowns soggy, bacon was burnt to a crisp. Gravy was also way too sweet. Asked for ketchup for a big plate of hashbrowns and got a tiny small paper cup like you get from McDonalds. Actually McDonalds would have been a better option for breakfast.

I was essentially forced to leave my change as a tip or not get any food. The employee explained that they don’t keep small change in the register for safety reasons. While I understand not keeping a large amount of cash in the drawer, it seemed odd that they had no $1s, $5s, or coins on hand, yet I could clearly see at least three $20 bills in the register. To make matters worse, their website was broken, so I couldn’t even check the menu or prices before arriving at the restaurant. On the bright side, the biscuits were delicious

Really good food. Good options for either savory or sweet. The reggie was fire, as were the biscuit beignets. I got the combo which came with cajun fries which were skippable. The snickerdoodle that came with was good though. Pretty fast service considering how busy it was on a holiday. We found a seat inside but it seems like there’s just enough seats between inside and outside that you will find one after getting through the line

These biscuits are so good that I pay GrubHub highway robbery rates to get them for breakfast when I'm having a rough day. That's right - I have repeatedly paid $7 delivery plus $5 service fees plus tip to get them. They're not the absolute best I've ever had, BUT only because I grew up in rural Kentucky and my best friend's mom would make biscuits every time I stayed over, but they're good enough to send me back to being a teenager like I'm in a Pixar movie.

I usually get a biscuit and gravy, extra gravy, and then a biscuit with pimento cheese to save for lunch or the next day's breakfast. I like the Reggie a lot but it's a bit too much for me, and getting it via delivery means it turns sort of mushy, but I bet it's incredible in person! My last order I also tried the pulled pork, which is quite good. I always order extra wampus sauce to keep in the fridge for a few days and put on just about everything. If I had a very minor quibble, the bourbon pecan bars are a touch too salty, but still good! Overall just cannot recommend them enough.

Over an hour wait between ordering and receiving the food. All told the food is pretty cheap, but was greasy and heavy and can require a robust stomach to come out feeling okay.

After a walk through Forest park I was looking for a place to eat and happened upon this lovely restaurant. The long line got my attention and once in it I questioned if I would stick around. I’m glad I did the staff was ultra friendly the food was appealing and flavorful, and although the wait time to have your order placed was long the serving time was quick!
