Great biscuits and gravy, and very nice Bloody Mary. My wife had the brisket sandwich which was also wonderful.

We went to this Pine State biscuits on Schueler by mistake. We wanted to go to the larger one the actual restaurant this was in more of a food hall. The service was pretty decent and the quality of food was OK. We just wanted the atmosphere where we could actually sit all in all they have great food and fantastic biscuits

Cramped, uncomfortable seating and unreasonably long waits for overpriced, underflavored breakfast food.

Some of the best breakfast I’ve ever had! If you’re ever in Portland you have to stop by and get the Reggie Deluxe. It was recommended to me by a friend and I fell in love as soon as I took the first bite. The atmosphere was chill and staff was friendly. I also ended up buying a shirt as a good memento from my trip.

I was fully sober but when that spicy chicken biscuit hit my tongue I started questioning said sobriety. I’m a southern girl who is super judgy when it comes to biscuits and these are the best I’ve had outside of my grandmother kitchen. I’m not exaggerating. 1000/10, biscuits so nice we ate there twice, breakfast the very next morning in fact.

Delicious beyond reproach. Every single item layerd, from the biscuit, egg and bacon was perfectly done. The textures and flavor all 10/10. A must !!

This is the best location. Quick service and my ol’ reliable Reggie. With a side of apple butter of course. Get an Arnold Palmer and you’re good to go. 😋
Wheelchair accessibility: Small space in general, but it has a ramp up to the register.

I had the veggie biscuit. I had to double check that it was actually vegan because it was absolutely delicious. Meant to take a photo. Busy spot even on a Friday mid day.

I’ve been a fan of Pine State Biscuits since their early days at the PSU Farmers Market, and I usually visit the Alberta Street location. However, during my holiday visit, I stopped by this location since it was closer. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit to go, and while I didn’t mind the 17-minute wait (I chose to order in person instead of ahead), I was really looking forward to a hot, fresh sandwich—part of the reason I ordered in person.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the sandwich I received. The entire thing was cold to room temperature, and the cheese wasn’t even close to melted—not even in the center. With the wait time, I assumed my order was being cooked to order, but it felt more like an assembly-line creation of premade components.
I’ll likely try to stop by again during my visit, hoping for a proper hot sandwich. Maybe next time I’ll need to specifically ask for a hot fried egg, sausage, and melted cheese, but I feel like that should already be the default standard. Pine State has always stood out for quality, and I hope this was just an off day.

Excellent biscuit sandwiches. No wonder there’s about 5 of them in the Portland area. The Reggie deluxe was delicious. Really good gravy. The BBQ biscuit was moist and succulent. It paired well with their wampus sauce (habanero). The coffee was on point but being Portland that should be expected.
Dos thumbs up 👍👍

Love me some pine state! Delicious biscuits! Like everything the cost has gone up. $16 + tip for a Reggie deluxe.
Best Blueberry Pancakes I have had in a while. We also ordered the Reggie which was also delicious, plus a side of extra crispy hash browns. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Portland. I was going to get a hat but we were too busy talking about how delicious this place was on our way back to the car hahahaha! Thank you Pine State Biscuits!
