When we arrived, there was a short line of people hoping to get pizza after midnight and a sign that they'll be back in 5 minutes but never came back. Wasted our time, We ended up going somewhere else. Don't trust the hours posted.

This is real NY style pizza (that is not easy to find in this area!) We have about 5 spots in Portland and Pizza Slut is definitely one of them! My teenage son gives it a 10 for taste and mind you he is a pizza connoisseur, on a mission to find Portland's best tasting pizza.
Sauce is great, dough/crust great, cheese great! Definitely more on the cheesy side if that's your thing. Connected to Dante's. There are like 3? patio tables and a little pick up window on the corner of 3rd and Burnside. Plenty of paid street parking on 3rd. Call ahead for whole pies and walk-up for slices.
11/10/24 around 5pm... the guy working at the window was especially kind to my husband and grateful for tips (well deserved).

This place sucked, hopes died when I saw him smoking a bowl of weed on line when I was waiting to order. Only one person working and they couldn't keep up with a couple pizzas from 3 seperate orders. I don't care how busy you are, you can communicate and honestly, pizzas take no time to make and throw in the oven. Do one thing at a time and you'll get it all done.

My go-to place for pizza when I'm in Portland. Huge tasty thin-crust pizzas.
I like how large the slices are. The veggie is My #1 go to ?! If you're fortunate you'll happen to luck up and get one of the veggie pizzas with artichokes on it! ? Unfortunately the area isn't the most favorable ?
Vegetarian options: Cheese and Veggie Pizza
Parking: There is a parking lot in the back of the building that I'm not sure if it is free or paid.

Tiny window on the corner of Dante's. They also have pizza available inside next to the bar. I love ordering from the window when I'm skating downtown. Slice + drink. These slides are huge and can easily be split in half to share with someone else. Highly recommend.

Great New York style pizza, good customer service. You have to get it out of a slit in the wall and pay through that too. It's sad though to see a few bums outside bugging customers for a slice and acting all entitled. Weird, but good name and solid slices.

Great pizza for a hole in the wall that's open late. The service was not so great. The dude working around 10:30 pm on 8/12/24 clearly hated his job. I didn't have enough money for 2 pepperoni slices and one Hawaiian because of their card surcharge i asked for a pepperoni instead of the Hawaiian he gave me one pepperoni instead of 3 pepperonis. When I told him there was a misunderstanding, he threw a fit. Then he proceeded to claim my card didn't work when there was money on it. Like damn bro i'm sorry i'm broke in this economy. Everyone is. Pizza was amazing though.
