Great food and portions. Everything we had was spot on and what you'd expect. Potato salad was only dish I'd pass on. They automatically charge an 18% tip/fee, which we weren't aware of, but that was fine with us.

A must try if you’re visiting or a local. Our server was very attentive and accommodating. Got the Pit Boss with baked beans and coleslaw and it hit the spot. Highly recommend for a casual outing and a couple of brews

Ordered and paid cash for large rib plate and 2 extra cornbreads to go. Got home and could see I had one skinny slice of cornbread and one normal slice. I called back to complain and I was told by the person that took my order and btw never gave me a receipt that she didn't pack the order and said yes, you get a slice of cornbread with a plate order. She said she would give me a credit.Since I don't plan on going back there ever again, I called back to say that I would come back later today and get the slice I paid for.I showed up there, yes, you guessed it, I was told I didn't pay for another slice. I shared why didn't anyone say this after two calls? I paid a little over $33 and this was suppose to be with 18% gratuity. Which the plate was a little over $24 plus $2 twice is $28 plus 18% gratuity is a little over $33. Maybe you can't believe the prices on the menu.Playing games, I will let Life Fix Them! Beware! I have never this type of experience at Famous.

Hands down the best bbq in Oregon. Very Southern and traditional bbq. All the meats were smoked perfectly and had a great smoke ring. Sausage was juicy and delicious. Definitely recommend this place. Only suggestion would be for a more mild sweet bbq sauce for kids.

We were in Portland for a day and came with an aunt who lives close by. Really decent BBQ and a good price as well. We got the pit boss platter with baked beans, mac and cheese and coleslaw with a few orders of fries as well. Plenty of food to feed the 6 of us. Thanks for dinner!

Brisket was great. We were served 3lbs of point. I would recommend asking for half flat and half point. Carnitas was solid but you can get solid carnitas for half the price at Mexican joints. Instead, stick with the bbq meats/sides.

I went to Podnah's but only had a sampling (meant to get a snack). Nevertheless, I had a rib, brisket taco, cornbread, and collard greens. It was very filling and not to mention, delicious. It was nice to have a wooden bbq looking spot right in the Alberta neighborhood, felt casual with small tables. The waiter was kind and hooked me up with a good variety of what they had to offer.

Five star brunch. I am so pleased they have reopened for weekend breakfast. Why wait 90 minutes for eggs and bacon at (insert overrated breakfast spots on Alberta here) when you can walk right in and get grits and migas here? Not in the mood for a full plate? Try the $7 breakfast sandwich and a cup of Extracto coffee, you will not be disappointed.

Food was above average to good. The problem is the service was absolutely not good. I was made to feel like I was rushed and that I was an interruption. I simply ordered at the bar. I selected the Brisket at $24.75. Comes with two sides and cornbread. The total was $31.57, I was informed that the gratuity was automatically included. I asked what the percentage was? I was told eighteen percent. Well, eighteen percent of $24.75 is approximately $4.66 for a total of $29.41. In effect, the below average server lied to me, whether intended or otherwise it's not acceptable. AKA, I won't ever go back.

Pretty nice service but the food is very expensive and kind of mediocre. You could find better food for half the cost. The mac and cheese is pretty good, but that cornbread is

We have heard of this place from TV and from friends. Tonight we experienced it for ourselves and we were not disappointed what so ever. Drinks, delicious. Appetizer, damned tasty, the Pitboss, holy hell my taste buds were rejoicing. Servixe was amazing our waiter explained what sauces went best with which meat and even on our Mac n cheese. I'm gonna be daydreaming of this until our next visit!

Initially I loved the vibe of this place, great atmosphere. However you seat yourself and it took about 15 minutes for a server to even approach us. The food itself looked amazing (see pics) but the taste was underwhelming. Brisket was good but too fatty and the sides were very colorful but bland. Cornbread was dry and not sweet at all. Also I didn't see the fine print at the bottom of the menu until it was too late but they automatically add an 18% gratuity to every order. Overall not a terrible place but for these reasons we won't be going back.Parking: You have to find parking in the neighborhood. We found a decent spot but we had to circle three times and walk a couple blocks with kids.
