The wings are amazing!! Everything is amazing, fried, sticky sauce. I would totally pack it to go for the plane ride but the fish sauce is strong and I wanted to be considerate. Noodles were chewy and very flavorful. Must get the wings! MUST!! You can walk around the hood while you wait for a table. Very cute shops near by!
So sad to find out this one is closing. I only tried it once last year during my visit to Portland. My friend and I really enjoyed the Vietnamese fish sauce wings, papaya salad, and Kung Op Wun Sen (prawns in clay pot with pork belly and bean thread noodles). Everything was so delicious and flavorful! Hope I can try their food again someday... Farewell Pok Pok!
* Pre Pandemic* Good ol' Pok Pok. A few years ago, LA had a Pok Pok. I was able to visit it before it permanently closed down. I was happy to know though that there was a location in Portland so when I went, I knew I had to stop by and grab some lunch at Pok Pok. We of course had to get the Ike Vietnamese fish sauce chicken wings. They are crispy, sticky, juicy and salty with a nice little kick to them. So much flavor on just some wings!
