We walked in. Looked around. Employees just looked at us like total extrangers. They weren't busy and yet didn't take the courtesy of approach us. We gave a little chance and try to see how the restaurant worked. After 5 minutes nobody try to talk to us. So due to the really BAD SERVICE, we turned around and left.

Used to be amazing. Now you could get the same meal at QFC, overcooked rotisserie chicken, sad prepackaged tortillas.
Consistently rude to delivery drivers, keep up the crappy attitude at this (slow) location
The menu is nice & simple. I've tried everything & it's all soooo good. Drinks are great too! Definitely one of my favorite spots to meet up with friends when I'm in Portland.

Always delicious!!! Celiac safe, too. We have been visiting Pollo Norte for years and it’s always juicy, well-seasoned and the salsas and handmade tortillas are amazing.

Wanted to check out the chicken at Pollo Norte because I wanted chicken that wasn’t fried for a change (and maybe a little healthier too). The quarter bird over cabbage was disappointing. Dark meat doesn’t have any excuse to be anything less than dripping juicy, but the leg and thigh here was not that. The seasoning on the skin was just fine. The bed of cabbage under the chicken was mushy and forgettable. The Cole slaw I actually quite enjoyed as it was fresh and bright.
Overall I can’t say it was worth the $17 which seems very steep for what you’re getting.

Perhaps it’s better when it’s busy, but we picked up chicken and sides in the afternoon (not that it should make a difference) and it left a lot to be desired. The chicken was dry and had obviously been hanging around for a while. There was a scanty amount of the famous cabbage. The potatoes were underdone and the beans were watery and almost tasteless. $30 for 1/2 a chicken and some beans and spuds may not sound too terribly bad in this day and age, but it is when you consider what we got.

…… sigh. the roasted chicken was way overdone like it came from yesterday’s holdover. Beans were seriously blah Margarita/was out of this world.
Although we knew this restaurant was of simple fair the outdoor patio really needed some TLC from the establishment

Love the Mexican chicken, potatoes are crazy soft and tasty, and the cabbage with the chicken drippings. Put that altogether in a cotton tortilla and yum.

Really good food, the tables could have been better maintained. The all had food and crumbs on them.
