So good!!!! we eat there every time we come to Portland! The Mt Tabor location is where my girl and I spent most of 2024....and now we're married ❤️
Best fish tacos I've ever eaten. Staff is super friendly as well.

I only give it three stars with the atmosphere because this place is constantly busy and it’s loud. It’s great in the summertime. It’s great you’re around. The food is fantastic, but it can be a little bit loud and it can be very busy and that’s the only reason I gave it. Three stars staff is exceptional. Food is beyond exceptional

Absolutely fantastic. Menu is long enough for variety but simple enough to stick to what they do well. The rotating specials are fun, and the margaritas are delicious. Second best tacos I've ever had. You can get good tacos for cheaper for sure, but it's not unreasonable and they do have a leg up on quality and its offset by supporting a small business. The seating in the patio/back is so cute, and surprisingly spacious. Service was decent enough, but I was there at a very busy hour so I imagine it's usually more involved.

An interesting Portland twist on classic Mexican staples. This place is not cheap, expect 30 a head, more if you are drinking. The place is always busy. I seem to always wait in line 5+ minutes. The staff are friendly, but you bus yourself. The restaurant is narrow and deep, casual dining with a Portland flair. The food is great! I love the fish tacos; good, flakey, fresh. Not much in the way of salsa. It's on a tourist street, I like to take visiting friends here to eat, then wander about the stores.

There are a lot of places in Portland that don't live up to the hype...... this is NOT one of those places. The food is excellent, the drinks are perfectly made, the folks who work here don't have the normal "air of superiority" that can come with Portland popularity. It's worth the wait. A staple within our restaurant rotation and never disappoints. ❤️ Big loves for Taco Love!! ❤️
Dietary restrictions: Super accommodating... just ask if you don't see it on the menu already.

Sat in the 'new' room at the side of the restaurant. Picnic tables with lots of room to stretch out. Bright floral vinyl table cloths. Alanis Morrisette soundtrack at good volume. Good acoustics out here—low chatter.
My go-to: Tamale plate with one veggie tamale plus a Migration IPA.
Excellent service.
Lovely, as usual, especially on this rainy Portland day.

One of our favorite restaurants. Always a line outside that goes very fast. Now has heated patios that are dog friendly. We go several times a month.
Parking: Street, sometimes difficult may have eto walk a block or so.
Kid-friendliness: Yes and dog friendly also.

This place is worth the wait. Excellent food. And my margarita was the real thing! Great dining experience. Thank you
Kid-friendliness: Fun atmosphere. Roomy seating so kid felt able to wiggle and look around.

This was a nice little spot with really tasty cuisine. We had some flautas, a chicken bowl and some hibiscus tea and everything was great!

One of the most overhyped spots around imo when you have better tacos at Los punales, Matt’s bbq tacos, and el Sazon de mi Rancho that are all pretty close without the giant line. The shrimp tacos are really good but the rest I’ve tried were dry and lacking flavor.
