it's 95F out, the dragon boat races are going, and we stumbled in off Poet's Beach to this little slice of suburb (affectionate). food and drink is your usual sports pub fare with a touch of their Cypress Restaurant origins and a bit of seafood as a nod to the river
shaded outdoor seating and good AC inside. short but solid taplist, and a good variety on the local bottle list. over a cucumber muddle cocktail and some cajun tots we heard some Eagles, Tina Turner, Lady Gaga and Elton John, and watched the MLB recap for the day
Great little pub. Great seating outside. Shade in the afternoon. Good drinks and food for a pub. A little on the pricy side but it is good.
Had the garlic aioli fries and sweet chili wings, the wings were decent tasting you get 9 for 16$ Now the fries? The 10$ fries weren't even cooked all the way and cold. I've had better fries at dairy queen.. the waitress was ok but i understand only having 2 waitresses must be stressful. The eating menu was absolutely disgusting and left dirt on my thumb :/ I honestly wouldn't go back
Great service, good is decent, lovely place to sit outside and enjoy a meal.

I came from Seattle with my girlfriend to take a stroll, and we found ourselves needing to find a place near the hotel for dinner. The hotel was kind enough to suggest this place. The food was really good, the selection of gourmet burgers is good; we ordered the Californian and the Mushroom. The 1-star rating is related to the service, which was rude and condescending. As soon as they noticed our English wasn’t particularly good, the waitress's behavior changed to be quite discriminatory. We asked about the ingredients of one of their burgers, and she condescendingly pointed to the menu while reading the ingredients aloud. They responded curtly to every request we made. I wouldn't classify them as racist, but their treatment, in general, if you are an immigrant, is poor.
Kimpton Riverplace Hotel was notified about this, they will no longer suggest this to any of the guests.

Good food and drink selection. Reasonably priced. Had a burger and a beer. Both very tasty! Service was good as well. Nice spot to eat outside too, but we sat in to catch a football game

If your going to bill yourself as a SPORTS pub, the least you can do is have the sound of the game on during Monday Night Football--instead of music blaring during the game. Very irritating for a sports fan. Wont be back for any big games.

Asked 15 minutes before the game if they are playing the Seahawks game. They said yes. We came at game start. Got a good seat with the tv that had it on. 7 min later the game switched. We asked what happened. They said it was a red zone channel. We asked that they put it back. They agreed but didn’t. The waitress said the bartender was new and maybe didn’t know how to work the tvs. Now we get to find another place while the game is on. We were going to each lunch but decided we aren’t giving money to a sports bar that isn’t playing the sport we wanna see.
