We had a lovely celebrationeal here. Everything was superb & the service was very good too!
Loved everything about this restaurant! We were greeted warmly and enjoyed our conversation with the staff. Shawn the chef did an amazing job with our meals. We highly recommend Portofino!!
We celebrated my husband's birthday having dinner here with a couple friends. Three of us had the sausage cavaletti my husband had the lasagna. All of us loved our food. The portions were about right sized. The service was fairly good but I think it could be better. I don't think anyone came back after our food was served to check how everything was and if we needed anything else. Also, when I made the reservation there's a question asking if the reservation is for a special occasion. I did put down that we are celebrating a birthday. However, no mention was made of this. It's not a huge deal, but if you're going to ask you might as well use that information. Also, when we were given the dessert menu I mentioned that we had a birthday cake at home already. The server just said okay, but didn't ask whose birthday it was or show any interest really. So definitely five stars for the food, and maybe four stars for the service.
Great cocktails!! Mushroom fettuccine is awesome!!
The food was delicious! The service was amazing.
Superb service and excellent food in a cozy, romantic setting. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would definitely recommend dining here.
We just opened a business next door and finally had the chance to eat here! Omg! Don’t walk, run to Portofinos! This is legitimately the best food I have had in a long time! The staff here is amazing and friendly! Thank you for the recommendations Andrew! The gnocchi are actual little pillows of deliciousness! The lasagna is indescribably amazing and I may just be living on the Brussel sprouts from here on out! It’s going to be hard working next door and not eating here everyday!
Well 1st off I set these reservations up and then all of a sudden the night of the reservation a guy calls me out of the blue and tells me oh well you should not have had these reservations in the 1st place doesn't apologize it's rude told me oh well I know about this yesterday but I forgot to call you and tell you it ruined my anniversary And I'm very disappointed
My steak was all fat and greasy. I could buy 3 fat steaks for $36.00. The lasagna taste awful. Too much breading. The service and atmosphere was good.
This restaurant, along with Serratto's, is my go-to in Portland for a fine meal. I have never been disappointed in either the meal or service.

Delicious! The wild mushroom fettucine is delicious, & certainly enough for 2 people to split with a salad or appetizer.
This was one of the most delicious meals I've had in a very long time. I gave it only 4 stars because the bread was mediocre compared to the rest of the meal. It's a bit pricey but worth it.
My husband and I have always enjoyed Portofino. But this was our first visit since they reopened. We were pleasantly surprised by the remodeled interior! It feels so good in there. Bravo! And the food was delicious, as always.
Great dinner, overall. Perfectly done Brussels sprouts and gnocchi appetizers started the evening off well. Pasta entrees were also excellent. Kitchen struggled with a full house creating a 45-minute gap between starters and the main course. 75-degree dining room was a bit too warm for comfort.
We have been coming to Porto Fino for several years. It's always a nice night out, the food and service are very good.
