Really great food with big portion sizes. The fried rice has that authentic wok hei flavor iykyk and the honey garlic spareribs were delicious. I also got the fried whole crab which was $45 for those who want to know. I'll definitely be back

I've been coming here for years, and they have always done a great job with my order. I like their online ordering system, and the food is ready fairly quickly. I placed an online order with 8 dishes for pickup and it was ready in less then 20 minutes.

SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

We are going there for my mom last day visiting. We wnt around 4pm. Bad service by this LADY today. Extremely rude!!! Ask for extra water 4 times, never arrived. Our water never got refill.
Ask for crab cracking thing to open the crab, and never arrived. Good thing another server showed up later later.
I understand is busy, but don't gave me an attitude! Very disappointing!! Very very annoying!! The deep fried crab was over cooked and salt pepper shrimp is extremely salty.

Too bad, this used to be one of my favorite restaurant to go too. We will never going back, and we will tell many of our to avoid that restaurant!

Change to 1 star, just found out they took extra tips without your consent!! We tips 20% regardless how horrible the service are and they took more money out. This is stealing!!
I mean how desperate are they, either they are greedy or the owner didn't pay them enough!

I had high hopes for this place. We went on a Saturday night and there was only one waitress. It got quite busy so we were patient but after asking for water about 8x we were on our last straw. The cups were also not clean. And the cherry on top was when we were paying.... we split the bill between two cards and the restaurant was very forceful by tell us that we should be paying 15% tip, when we were trying to explain to them that one of us is playing for the full tip and that it will be zero on the other one, they looked angry. Come next Monday... I check my bank account... they charged us the 15% tip even when we wrote in zero. The food was mediocre.

I used to come here a lot with my family growing up in the neighborhood and we loved the food here. I haven’t come as much as we all got older and moved further away. I decided to come here with my family for the first time in a long time yesterday and was surprised that the original owners of many years have apparently sold the place and is now under new ownership.

We decided to try some of the classic dishes we used to love and see if or how they’ve changed. For starters, the prices definitely has gone up, even higher than the average Chinese restaurants with the same dishes, which is fine with me as long as the quality of the food justifies it. Not all did.

The Mongolian Beef here used to be my absolute favorite in town, but sadly not anymore. The nostalgic sauce and tenderness of the beef is no more. Instead, it’s very typical except missing hot chilis that usually makes this dish spicy. It was very mildly spicy and also had a strange sour aftertaste that’s unusual for any Mongolian Beef dish.

I also preferred the original Salt & Pepper Squid that I believed was even better than the infamous Thien Hong’s (which was and probably still is ridiculously overpriced). It was perfectly crunchy on the outside, packed a lot of flavor and tender on the inside. Though I prefer the original, the new Salt & Pepper Squid here is still pretty good. It just lacks that crunch I like on the outside, but the flavors are good (the added garlic works well with it) and the squid was even more tender and less chewy. Depending on one’s personal preference on squid, they may like this more.

The service here now was the biggest problem. For the longest time, I only saw one lady server in all black in the dining room. Took forever for her to even get us any service. Later another gentleman appeared in the dining room and he was very nice and took our order. Of the two, he was the only friendly one as the lady constantly ignored us when we tried to ask her for service. Many times she just glared at us, don’t say a thing and completely ignored our requests. Then later as we checked out, same thing. Glared at me, didn’t even say a word as she rudely handed me the bill, snatched my card then throws it on the counter when she’s done. Not even so much as a “thank you” after either, she literally said NOTHING. Rudest server I’ve ever met in a long time.

Based on this visit and especially how it ended, my family and I will never be coming back here ever again. Inconsistent food quality, overpriced dishes and a very rude server = hard pass. I’ll just have to remember this place for what it was in its past glory days and leave it there.

Today we came to eat at this place because my children love it. We have been coming for several years and the waitresses were usually on their best behavior. Today we had a very bad experience. There was a man we had never seen before. I imagine he is the new owner. He served us. Very reluctantly, they did not give us water until we asked for it and the water had dirty things inside. They never asked how everything was and they were super rude when we asked for something else. This person was drinking beer, which is not very ethical. they over charge too.

This was my thanksgiving dinner tradition for the years that I lived in Portland. It's comfortable, nice enough to be a special treat, casual enough that you can go after a good bike ride.
Salt and pepper egg tofu (really, salt and pepper anything) and their steamed eggplant with ground pork and salty fish are the two winners in my book.
Great place for groups too!

Definitely I was aware this is not a fancy restaurant. As a tourist from California, I was amazed by the food portion and price (no tax!). The typhoon sampan style dungeness crab and seafood yuzi tofu were good as other regular Canton restaurant in Cali. Food served pretty quickly.

The restroom and the seat covers are very dirty. Looks like they don't clean them. Food is decent. OMG, there was a piece of plastic in my veggies dish. I talked to the owner and she said it's the plastic case that they use to stored the veggies. And she walked away without saying sorry

I've come twice now to give this place a fair shot, the first time fairing better than the second by far. A friend recommended it, but I can't say I'm a fan. The first time we tried beef chow fun and salt and pepper squid, the beef was tender and flavorful, and the squid a little dry (a light dipping sauce would have done it well.) Both dishes seemed to be half onions, and therefore didn't make for a good combination. The second visit we tried the sesame beef and general tsos, and both were almost too salty to eat. We looked around to flag someone down but were unsuccessful and honestly too hungry to complain. Waters went unfilled and we ended up leaving with a bad taste in our mouths, literally.
