Not very flavorful. Had the Bok Choy, Singapore Rice Noodle and Hot Sour Soup, just bland, minimal chicken, pork and shrimp and not much to recommend here.

Foods okay except the duck it was probably three days old don’t get it, the lobster is rubbery ish, the veggies are mid and the sesame shrimp has this weird after taste the servants were very mean and never have that “hi welcome “ atmosphere don’t go is I could rate negative it would be negative one billon the restrooms were super dirty and also after eating the duck I had a tummy ache
Also this restaurant is more to the Americans side because I came back from a trip from Asia and I know now what really Asian food taste like so ya I cannot stand this food so

Portions don't seem to be as large as other converse restaurants. Food is generally pretty tasty but the onions that came with their salt and pepper squid were practically raw. On the plus side, they are one of the few Chinese restaurants left that give you orange slices when you're done reading.

Good taste, good service, good price
I’ve been going to Powell’s Seafood for 35 years and it’s our family “go to” place. I married into a Chinese family and my in-laws knew the owner and wait staff. However it changed owners a few years ago, so just not the same. Still good, but prices went up substantially and just doesn’t have the pull it once did.
We love this place!
Great food, real gem in Portland when it comes to Chinese food.
Not as great as before. New owners...maybe New cook. ☹️ servings look small especially s&p squid...looked like left overs. We still ate them..still good but definitely on a downward slope.

The food here is always delicious, and the chef's skills are excellent. Today, we decided to try some dishes we hadn't had before. We ordered Steamed Clams ($22.95), Sesame Beef ($21.95), Sautéed Eggplant with Hot Garlic Sauce ($17.50), and Seafood Crispy Noodles ($14.50). Each dish was quite generous in portion, and they all came with rice, so we were absolutely full.
Personally, I liked the eggplant the most. As for the seafood crispy noodles, the version at East Harbor is much better. The beef had a strong flavor, so having it with rice was a must. The clams were actually quite large, more like hardshell clams, and since the sauce was simple, it might get a bit monotonous unless shared with a group.
Pretty average.
Very good Chinese food. Not sugary, not Americanized.
