Heads up: the GFO stuff isn’t truly GF - since it’s a shared fryer so there is cross contamination. Our friend who came has celiac and ended up not being able to eat many of the items that were sited as a GFO.

Otherwise the food was really good. Great vibe and the staff was nice. Would def go back.

This is the cutest place right on produce row in Portland. They always have great drinks. And their food is outstanding. I love the warm bar atmosphere in the front, but if you want a little bit more open space, you can head to the back patio.

For some reason they insist that burning their chicken breading is the only way to properly cook chicken to the right temperature. Maybe their batter needs improvement or their oil needs cleaning, but the fried chicken breading tastes burnt and that’s the way they make it on purpose.

We hosted our company holiday party at Produce Row Cafe this past weekend, and it was fantastic! The venue was warm and inviting, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Our whole team had a wonderful time. Highly recommend Produce Row for any event or night out!

We went mid afternoon, and it was extremely quiet. Servers were fine, food was delicious if a bit expensive.

I looked at the reviews and photos and thought his place would be fantastic! It wasn’t. The place was nearly empty. They brought us lukewarm water. There is a sign that says if your party us only two people to sit yourself, so we did. We sat in the corner and were told to move because someone was coming in to sit there. The hour plus we were there… no one came in and sat there.

The food was average. The Brussels sprouts and kale salad had no Brussels sprouts, just very tough kale with the stems still attached and a few croutons.

The protein bowl was unseasoned and an up charge for pork belly that was clearly just dropped in the fryer. It was also unseasoned, dry and tough. The deviled eggs were fine. The yolks were a little grey (overcooked) definitely wouldn’t eat here again. It was a poorly spent $60.

Vibrant flavors that's worth a visit. The Sweet Po-Taters were an easy salty hit. I enjoyed the creamier dressing on the Kale and Brussels salad, crispy Brussels were a nice touch (think more savory version of crispy onions). The staff was friendly and attentive, nice calming atmosphere as well.

Produce Row is one of my favorite places to eat lunch in Portland. The food and service are excellent and the atmosphere has a cool Portland vibe - with patio and indoor seating.

Incredibly rude service. Walked in and no one greeted us for close to 10 minutes. Finally caught the attention of someone in the kitchen and they said to sit down and they’d send a sever over. After watching one server laboriously take several orders, and hearing her tell the table next us that it might take 45 minutes for their food, we left.

Only half of the tables had people at them so it wasn’t super busy. Just terrible management.

Our waitress was very sweet and amicable.

But this restaurant is poorly run and the food is bad.

Had a birthday reservation, but they didn't write it down upon booking, so it took forty-five minutes for our party of 16 to be seated.

Food delivery was staggered and took about an hour and a half to serve all guests a meal in a dead restaurant.

Food is over priced. I won't speak for anyone else in our party about taste, but my burger was way too salty. I only had a few bites and the meal cost $19.

To top it off, they don't split bills. They broke us up into two parties, forcing one unfortunate soul at each table to brave a $400+ bill with the "guarantee" the other table mates would venmo them in a timely manner.

That sucks.

If you're looking for a cocktail early in your evening--sure, why not? They have good drinks.

Otherwise, look elsewhere. This restaurant is no bueno.
