The menu here is already amazing, but if you really want to wow yourself, go for whatever the chef has as a special. I tried the venison, and honestly, it might have been better than any steak dinner I’ve ever had—so tender, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. Had dinner with friends here for the fifth or sixth time--consistently excellent food, exceptional service, quiet and warm atmosphere. A true Portland gem, with an experienced and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
We stopped in for dinner when we were staying downtown. We wanted something a little more special because we had a night away from kids and this was totally it. The food was incredible. Our server was great. It was expensive for us but worth it for the experience.
