I stopped in for a drink after dinner and got way more of an experience than I expected. For starters,Taylor and Brian are the best. I've been to several bars, from dive to cocktail, over the weekend and this was hands down my favorite. The service was engaging and fun, the cocktails were delicious, and don't even get me started on the liquor selection. I'll be back tomorrow night to try the food, and probably drink more tequila!

This is one of the best bars I've been to. I come through once or twice a year on travel and get a vegan pie from neighboring Sizzle Pie, shot and a beer, and then order from the everchanging and eclectic cocktail menu. The pizza and drinks are always awesome. The punk and metal music is loud and the atmosphere is lowkey. The bartender is constantly experimenting behind the bar to figure out new drinks for the cocktail menu and change up the music playlist, which enhances the atmosphere. This place is very inclusive, which makes me feel uber comfortable. This is one of the best parts of my trips to Portland.

Pizza was great but services was bad, really bad.The blond bartender dont smile back. You say thank you and they dont even care.I the drink I requested, the bartender with black thicc glasses asked me 4 times cause "he couldnt understand", gurl I know you can speak Spanish so dont act like you only gonna give service to perfect english speakers, because that is racism.Takes 2 seconds to be kind, and if you dont like your job, just leave.

ThI y have a great industry special and the space is cool enough but the service was way too staunch and unkind. No one spoke to me outside of asking my order. His makes me sad as a person visiting

Get your sizzle pie and booze too. We love this place but be forewarned this is more a dive bar than craft cocktails and.the music swings hard punk and goth. I happen to like that but it's not for everyone. They bartenders are very friendly and hip. The perfect Powell's Books area bar.Vegetarian options: They always have at least three vegetarian and three vegan slices. They rotate. Also the vegan salads with vegan ranch are magnificent

My friend and I were in the area and wanted a beer before we got back on the bus so we stopped by after visiting Powell's. The atmosphere was interesting because the music played was Nickelback and similar. I couldn't tell if it was ironic or not after talking to the bartender but the beer was average and clearly not a priority with a lot of cocktail specials. Would go back but only if it was a necessity.

Hipster bartender with the glasses needs an attitude adjustment, aggressively asks whats up as you place an order and then acts like he's too cool to even deal with you. The pizza is good and drinks are decently priced just don't go when he's working.

Went here on a recommendation and were really surprised with the cocktail selection and then the AMAZING pizza that we weren't even planning on getting but had to share a couple slices. Got a kick out of the surprise box vending machine with our 90's mystery package.
