Tasty pizza, especially if you prefer them thick like I do. Quality toppings as well. Highly recommended by my taste buds.

Detroit style pizza. The square slices are lighter than air. The number 4 is delightful.

A must-try for lovers of thick, chewy, yeasted pizzas. We got the #4 with ricotta and the Hawaiian. Both were delicious and we loved that you can get quarters to try more! There were a few people coming in and out for takeout, but otherwise the store was pretty empty.

I ordered online and the estimated pickup time was 30 minutes. I arrived a few minutes early, hoping they would exceed the expectation they set. Wrong. I waited 15 minutes beyond the expected time. They didn't seem to be understaffed (one team member clearly didn't have enough to keep him busy). Once I got the pizza, I carried it the 3 blocks to my place and it was already barely warm and certainly not hot.The pizza was good, but not great, and the vegetarian pizza has too strong an olive presence/taste, imo -- more than any pizza I've ever had. Edible? Sure, but I likely won't return and certainly not when I'm short on time.

The pizza was great. I got a 1/4 slice of #4. Chicago style deep dish pizza was well baked, with the cheese and crust on the edges crunchy but not burnt. Toppings went well together and tasted fresh. It's call Ranch Pizza because you get a side of ranch with your pizza and that had great flavor too. The music was a bit loud so it was difficult to have a conversation, especially for someone who has trouble hearing with background noise.

I was really excited and happy to see Ranch added a vegan option to their menu. I hadn't eaten here in a few years due to my dietary shifts. I thought the crust tasted great although it was extremely light on the cheese which is funny because I remember their dairy pizza being a total cheese bomb. I'd say this was a 3-3.5/5 for me. With Wild Child and Scottie's in the neighborhood and Boxcar or Red Sauce delivery it'd be hard to make this my first choice. More of a "I'm going to Ranch anyway with friends so now I have something to eat there". I think it would kick it up a notch to have a dairy free ricotta option at Ranch, or to add it at home. I didn't add toppings because it was $1/extra topping for this quarter pie and that seemed like a lot at the time of ordering for a small serving.

Worst customer service I ever experienced. The venue is really fun and the pizza is fabulous however it was all ruined by the customer service. I would never go back and would not recommend.

Square / Detroit style pizzas always catch my attention, so of course my curiosity led me to Ranch pizza. Ordered ahead for pickup before the wind came through, and it was ready on time. Even with a bit of a drive, the slices were still hot. Really appreciated that they boxed the order, even with only 3 slices. For those not hungry enough to commit to the full sheet of squares, the quarter slices are the way to go and a great way to have a pizza tasting. Both the cheese and #4 were well cooked (crispy on the edge but still had a soft middle). I wish the #4 had a bit more sauce to balance the sausage and ricotta, but it was still a party for my taste buds. If I order again the next time I'm in town, I may need to add my own Mike's Hot Honey to the slices. Will buy again!

Picked up two pizza’s (veggie w/pepperoni & the #4) from the NW 21st location on New Year’s Day evening and we couldn’t decide which one we liked better - they both were amazing! It has a flavorful, crunchy-bottomed, thick crust, so it’s pretty filling. Bring your appetite & loosen your belt. The guy working was super friendly too! We’ll be back!

Wednesday 9/20/23 While doing pizza searches (via Yelp) for my upcoming Portland trip, I found ranch pdx which is known to serve good Detroit style pizza and I was ready for it. I got a pepperoni whole pie ($28.50) for takeout. The pizza was very underwhelming and overpriced ($28.50 for normal size pizza square slices is crazy). Had family and friends that tried it and they were underwhelmed as well: stating how greasy the pizza was. The ranch wasn't anything special and was average at best. I really wanted to like the pizza but couldn't. The high expectations I had completely fell flat. I personally wouldn't get it again and would rate it as the worst pizza I had in Portland during my visit.
