Good coffee, variety of good drinks with tea or coffee, nice atmosphere.. can work in your laptop or sometimes find an interesting person to visit with
The atmosphere would be great if it weren’t the cacophony of barking dogs inside.
Best coffee in town
Both coffee trips left me disappointed. Had higher expectations with the roasting setup. Very pricey too, the pricing board was less than I paid for my drink and was partially smudged out. Paid $7.50 for 16oz latte.
Great cafe for classic flavors. Latte was delicious and cream forward. Cardamom cinnamon roll was buttery, with caramelization on the bottom. Strong competitor in a neighborhood filled with cafes.
red e café is consistently delicious with a staff that is laidback, friendly, and knowledgeable. The rotating artists on the wall keep the vibe fresh.

I have been to most of the coffee houses in Portland and after coming here quite a few times. I’m convinced they have the friendliest and most genuine staff of any place in town. Great coffee and atmosphere;)

Amazing atmosphere! I stopped up here on a trip from Buffalo, Ny and the iced vanilla latte was absolutely the best!

How have I missed this place for so long! The tastiest espresso I have had in a while! Today’s Columbian roast has no bitter aftertaste, nice rich aroma, and tartness reminiscent of citris. Gotta go back again soon!

The house coffee soda is popping!?☕️?
Kid-friendliness: Not many kid-friendly options, and if a kiddo can manage a mature environment there should be no problems.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, I think, maybe rugged wheels needed, not sure

Deliberately rude and slow barista 3/30 9-10AM. God forbid if you decide not to tip for one week out of the month on their $6 coffees. Also apparently they are the only coffee shop in town that doesn't stock rediwhip? Basic PDX service industry entitlement or rank incompetence? Hard to tell.
