Not a place I would recommend. Very dirty and loud people . Old fashion fixtures and out of date decor.

The wing I was in was partially under renovation, but that activity didn't impact my stay. The room was clean. Food was great and the staff were friendly. If you plan to charge an electric car while staying here, know that the Tesla destination charger was not working for me. So, I had to use the only other charging station available, which was a Clipper Creek 40 amp charger with my J-1772 adapter. Other Tesla drivers on PlugShare have posted similar comments for the past few months, so I'm not sure if they're planning to fix it soon. Having more charging stations available and working would definitely be nice.

Large rooms with all the amenities. Porch, fridge, microwave, large TV and beds. Complete with table and desk. Sink outside the bathroom is nice addition. This resort has a full restaurant which I am reviewing separately. Bar, tennis courts, pool and spa. Towels poolside makes like easy. Large complex and quite a walk of your room is opposite pool. Cleanliness is an issue, hallways are dated and walls could be cleaned. Room had spider webs in the sliding glass door, two lights were out and asked for them to be fixed, bathroom and floor were not as clean as I would expect in a resort setting. Air conditioner dripped and when I wiped up water floor was gross. I don't think room was adequately cleaned which is a bit of a concern with covid. The rest if the hotel is very nice and staff was all spectacular.

I give it 5 stars *****Although a good bit of construction was going on outside the doors. It really didn't negatively impact our company event at all.Parking was free and close to the bldg. The event room was large and beautifully decorated with a great view through large windows. Tables and chairs were comfortable. The food buffet was plentiful and tasty.Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Facility has undergone a major remodel & has some very nice upgrades. I was surprised to find that one of the main floor (public) men's room toilet seats was mostly disconnected. Also, their "gender neutral" bathroom needed attention, but rather than plunge and clean it, they just put up a "Caution, Wet Floor" sign. We were there the evening of December 8, 2021 for their Christmas Ships event. The food was great, but expensive ($31 per person plated dinner with limited choices). The decor in the room was very minimal, including a non-lit Christmas tree. They have a huge 4-screen video wall that was turned off. I suggested to the server that they could have it playing a video yule log fire. It also seemed that the background music was not holiday themed. It was fun to see the ships from the outdoor walkway. Too bad so many of the guests needed to be smoking out there.

The temperature was too hotI adjusted it to cool to 66 but it stayed at 70. It has been 8 hours and still waiting for the room to cool.Reading through the reviews, I can personally attest that there is definitely a systemic cleanliness issue at this hotel. The rates and website showcase a top notch hotel but it falls short of that. The carpets are dingy, the toilet sets are yellowish, the curtains are very old. This hotel needs an extreme makeover

My wife gets out of the shower after forever because the water pressure is horrible to dry off on a towel she noticed was filthy. It had either food or blood on it! We brought the towel to the front desk and was informed they have been having issues with housekeeping doing that to people because they are disgruntled! We asked for a room change one cleaner and with better water pressure. We moved way over to the other end of the hotel to a “upgraded” room. The towels were all clean and it was a little bit nicer except for it got really cold at night and the heater didn’t work. We tried to make coffee in the morning and found that that also didn’t work. No complimentary coffee in the lobby either. It’s unfortunate because my wife and I come to Portland all the time and rent hotels last weekend was Hotel Deluxe and Hyatt House downtown and when we came here we fell in love with the balcony and thought maybe this will be our spot..NO!

The room was supposed to be a superior Queen room, with a River view. We could barely see the river. They also gave me a room, for my dog that was blocked outside the glass door with construction equipment. Also there is transient housing on the outside of the hotel parking lot. Nice hotel, could do alot better for their guests though.

Snow caused us to require earlier rest in Portland so I decided to book online with the tried and true Red Lion at Jantzen Beach. Apparently this has been sold to Holiday Inn, Inc and is under construction. Dozens of homeless tents surround property ( Portland fault) but the lack of cleanliness and cheap, overpriced food is ridiculous.

Excited about the updates coming. Manager Emily is a great asset to the property. Enjoyed our room with a wonderful view

Visiting folks staying there... New remodel really not a great improvement. Lighting shines in eyes in public areas. Good size rooms, with fridge and MW.So if you're attending an event there, it's fine. Wouldn't be my first pick as a plain hotel.

We didnt stay very long, just a night to get away. The room was well kept, there was a balcony attached to our room, there was a tv, just couldn't get it to do anything haha. For a building under renovations, it was definitely a 5 star. But again, we were there for like....10 hours

The beds were very comfortable and that is the #1 priority when I am staying in a motel. I was there for 3 days so I can honestly say complete hotel was very clean. Service was great considering they are still short handed on staff. You have to call desk and ask for room serv6if you need it because of staff shortage. If I am in area again I will definitely stay again.

Filthy. My husband and I were kid free for the first time in almost 2 years to celebrate we got the presidential suite here. There were LONG blonde hairs (I'm not blonde neither is my husband) all over the shower, bed and bathtub. When we were unable to get adequate hot water from the shower we tried to take a bath, once filled there was a disgusting film over the top of the water like it had not been cleaned in a while. There was 1 update to this "presidential suite" and that was a lamp with a USB port otherwise it's the same as it was in the 70s and the "view" is primarily tennis courts - not the river. The singular redeeming factor was the staff at the bar. They were fantastic. I did give the manager a few days to call me to discuss this but they chose not to call. So they are getting a review instead. Do not spend the money here. It is horribly overpriced especially for the lack of cleanliness. So disappointed that this was the place we ended up in for a night that was supposed to be special.
