Redwood is my favorite breakfast/brunch restaurant in Montavilla. Chantel is very welcoming and charming. The chefs are cooking up some of the best food I've had in recent memory (their cubano eggs benedict special was 11/10). The drinks are delicious. The vibes are chill, and I absolutely recommend stopping by.

I come here somewhat frequently as its close by and delicious. The staff are nice, the food is good, and they have have heaters for their outdoor seating. High recommend.
This was the first visit, but there will be many, many more! We showed up and were told there’d be about a 10 min wait - which was fine! About 30 seconds later though, we had a seat and were looking at the menus! Service was excellent and kind. The food was so, so good! The portions were more than generous and the coffee was good! Can’t wait for our next visit!

Its like comfort food but cool granola kid comfort food. Maybe the one item on the menu that wasnt iver thought was the bare knuckles oatmeal. Otherwise, everything was overthought and needlessly complicated. For example, the waffles were fried in oatmeal (which i couldn't tell so maybe they were just made with oat flour?) and there was smoked trout. Who is tarnation smokes their trout? Its such a delicate fish. Anyhoo... to each their own and the food is edible and has generous sized portions with endless coffee and juices. And, as i mentioned its comfort food so you can grab hashbrowns and eggs and sourdough toast.

Redwood is a super close walk from our house. We came for brunch with some out-of-town guests and our 2 girls. Our server was so nice and accommodating. My 5 year old asked if she had any coloring sheets and she came back with several pieces of colorful paper and what I can assume were her own colored pens. She did not have to do that, especially since it seems they don’t do kids coloring sets (and that’s ok!!) That was super kind of her to do so we made sure to take meticulous care of her pens haha. Food is always good at Redwood, we love the chilaquiles and the cornbread and collard greens skillet. I don’t remember her name but she was wearing cute shrimp earrings and has a matching cocktail shrimp tattoo with her best friend (love it!) Oh and she also made us really tasty mimosas with beet juice and I would definitely go back for those. Thanks for being a quality neighborhood establishment, Redwood.

I had the BEST brunch experience about a month ago. Ordered a ton of menu items to share, tasted the incredible cocktails and had the best service ever. My small group was blessed to have the owner as our server, who took care and attention to every little detail. I've been telling all my friends about this hidden gem 💎 I hope to return for a birthday celebration soon!
