Its like comfort food but cool granola kid comfort food. Maybe the one item on the menu that wasnt iver thought was the bare knuckles oatmeal. Otherwise, everything was overthought and needlessly complicated. For example, the waffles were fried in oatmeal (which i couldn't tell so maybe they were just made with oat flour?) and there was smoked trout. Who is tarnation smokes their trout? Redwood is a super close walk from our house. We came for brunch with some out-of-town guests and our 2 girls. Our server was so nice and accommodating. My 5 year old asked if she had any coloring sheets and she came back with several pieces of colorful paper and what I can assume were her own colored pens. I had the BEST brunch experience about a month ago. Ordered a ton of menu items to share, tasted the incredible cocktails and had the best service ever. My small group was blessed to have the owner as our server, who took care and attention to every little detail. I've been telling all my friends about this hidden gem 💎 I hope to return for a birthday celebration soon!
