On my lunch today at work I stopped in to try some food after learning Snoop dog knows of the place, I was curious about the hype. I got 2 BBQ pulled pork sliders and they definitely did NOT disappoint. They were served hot, the meat was juicy and flavourful. It was delicious and I can't wait to try more.
I'm a few bites into this pulled pork mac and cheese and I just started floating.
(Could use some more cheese though, still delicious)
Wow, just wow. The baby back ribs were unbelievably tender and juicy and just fall off the bone, plenty sauce to enhance the experience. I can't believe it took me so long to try this joint, but I'm definitely coming back!
The BBQ smoked chicken and brisket were awesome! The skillet corn was amazing!
The mac and cheese was weird. It was like cold macaroni salad with cheese sauce, which I did not prefer. I want to taste CHEESE in my mac and cheese, not some weird gross onions and peppers where they don't belong.
Seems like BBQ places in Portland don't believe in green beans, which is disappointing
Fried catfish is delicious and fresh. Yams and Mac and cheese were on point. I highly recommend.
The food is amazing. I used to smell it for months from a neighboring building and never got in. Husband and I were near by so stopped. Everything we had was a new explosion of flavors. The meats melted in your mouth, the mac n cheese was amazing, the sweet tea was a perfect cup, and the okra was absolutely perfect. The service was great. He helped us order knowing we wanted to try everything possible. After we ordered he kept checking on us while the order was gotten and triple checked we got everything we ordered.
The smoke is dirty. Not sure what they do, but it is definitely not a clean smoke
The Best barbecue in Portland Oregon! Hands Down. I highly recommend it!
I got the 5 meat sampler which is pricey but comes with a ton of food - definitely get what you pay for.
The meats ( i got spare rib, baby back rib, and pulled pork) were all smoked to perfection.
The house-made bbq sauce is delicious - not too sweet - hints of vinegar and mustard.
Red beans and rice was a great side.
Disappointed 😞
The portions vs value, not there. I tried it twice, and unfortunately, it's a no-go.

I got the brisket slider combo. Great food and price 👌 Definitely recommend if you're looking for delicious and affordable bbq
I love this place but don't like the hours why is that they close at 6pm most of the people work til 5pm and can't make it there in time to get the awesome food honestly Friday Saturday and Sunday would be the top sale days my opinion fyi more money for a little later hours would be great I was upset I was 2 min late to grab my catfish and brisket 😢 I give this place too rating on customer service and there food I'm forever there long time customer miss rio playing at Clyde's mostly forever missed by so many rest in love RIO🙏
The staff was nice, but I was disappointed by the food. I ordered the brisket mac and cheese, and I wasn’t a fan. It was super liquidy, and the flavor was way different than I expected. The fatty brisket pieces were delicious, but the leaner ones had no flavor.
Never tried them before, and they were closed a LONG time due to a fire. But they reopened.
I was looking forward to trying them. Wasn't expecting much because of previous reviews, but still disappointed.
I got 2 of their pulled pork sliders. Ate one walking home. Sooo dry. Maybe 1 tsp of BBQ sauce on top of overcooked meat. Very hard to build up enough saliva to eat it. When I got home, I put extra BBQ sauce on the 2nd slider. A little better, but meat still dry & tough.
Note: This was Nov 2023 so things may have changed.
Best BBQ in Portland, hands down. Lived here for 3 years before finding Reo's, happened to drive by and smelled it from the road. Had tried many places since moving only to be utterly disappointed by them all. Brisket melts in your mouth, ribs slide off the bone with a slight tug, and the staff is always friendly.
