The corundas are the best
IYKYK, These folks are local Carnitas powerhouse! However, I called ahead to place an order for a quesadilla Al-Pastor to go. It was ready in exactly 5 minutes like it was stated over the phone. I called ahead because I was on the run, from one errand to the next, all with tonights posada in mind. I was starving though and had planned to steal bites when it was safe to do so. I got in the car and its' scent over powered me. I gave in and took a bite. Time management was no longer at the forefront of my mind. Sustenance this good, deserved to be savored. So we sat in the parking lot, dipping the quesadilla between the good salsa verde we've all come to know and love, and the salsa roja--which was a milder version of a chile de arbol sauce. The tortilla was made from scratch, their selection of cheese was elevated beyond the common choice of Mozzerella most establishments use. I think it was an imported queso oaxaca if Im not mistaken. The Al-Pastor was well marinated and tasty. Did mention that I accompanied it with a seasonal agua fresca de mango?
Well, its been about 45 min since I parked and grabbed my quesadilla, while it was half the size of my to-go plates circumfrence. It wasnt sooo big that It would take me 45 minutes to enjoy. It actually only took me 7 minutes to eat. I savored it, but it was so delicious I devoured it at the same time.
All that being said, it was soo good-- I felt compelled to write this review. I also took a couple photos. Please keep in mind the photos are in my dimly lit car but even then my mouth still waters looking at them!
Best authentic mexican food in the Gresham/Portland area hands down! Carnitas are to die for and made like no other. Definitely would recommend this restaurant to my out of town family. Great service as well! Go and eat some delicious food. 100% recommend!

The prices are through the roof. The food's great, but way too expensive. They’re only open 3 days a week, so I guess they’re trying to make up for the lost days, and they charge more for carnitas if you dine in.

That’s the best place to go and eat Carnitas I think they’re the best Carnitas in town and everywhere they’re in Washington or Oregon. Not gonna find a better restaurant to go and eat. They’re delicious. I recommend the place.

My family an I love the food. We usually order pick up because is always so busy. Best authentic Mexican food in gresham. They have lots of options but if your unsure you can't go wrong with the carnitas plate or tacos my favorite is the quesadillas handmade tortillas and a variety of gisados or toppings like carnitas, chorizo con papas, mole, chcharron even a few vegan options. Also I think their prices are good for the quality of it.
Parking: If your coming for brunch it gets very full

I came and wasn't sure what to order so tried the chilaquiles. They were too spicy for me so I asked and paid for sour cream lol I have a low spicy tolerance. I also paid to add eggs. Overall they were so so. They chips were SO soft and soggy. I like mine to have at least some crispness.Beans where good though.Front worker lady was ok.The other people I was with offered menudo and they liked it.
The food is very bad
This place so gas ! Best tacos , pollo & asada the way to go.Been going since 2015 but wish they had a full week or more days like they used to , cause I’d be in there more often !
