Chicken Teriyaki 8/10. This spot is one of those hidden gems that people call a "hole in the wall," but trust me, the food is really tasty. It's pretty tiny, but if you swing by during your lunch break and get it to go, it's manageable. The chicken teriyaki gets an 8 out of 10, and the veggies that come with it are tasty and not overcooked. However, the steak teriyaki isn't as impressive because they use a lower-quality cut of beef, and it's chopped up too small. The older Caucasian guy at the counter is always super friendly, while the younger Mexican staff are just okay. They’re not rude, but you can tell they’re just there to take your order and move on. Overall, I'm really happy I discovered this place, and I would definitely recommend it.

I love this spot. The food is good and very reasonably priced. The service is on point. The location is convenient and very accessible. The place is a little small for the crowds they get sometimes and it can get very busy so a lot of people call in there orders for pickup so it can be difficult to determine wait time sometimes but overall it's a good lunch spot on.
Rice & Spice is a little hole in the wall restraunt. It usually caters to the hospital staff across the street or others who have found out about this gem of a restaurant. The food is great and the staff is friendly! The owners can be found working there from time to working along side there employees. I personally know of one employee who has been there for about 10 years and remembered me after being out of the area for a couple of years. If your looking for lunch or just a bite to eat, this is a great place. Parking can be a challenge, but worth it.
Been coming here since I was a kid with my friends, great food and really good portions. relative to other places in Portland this is great value for how much you get to eat

There's a reason this place has survived for so long despite being a hole in the wall: For $9.25 before tip I got an absolute heap of chicken teriyaki bento. The meat was surprisingly good quality, grilled just right, with veggies and a side of extra sauce. Quite pleased.
