I love Ricky’s! So many vegan options. Always delicious. Super reasonably priced.

Among the best sushi I've had at a food truck and more importantly, more vegan options than most sushi restaurants in PDX.

Rice was overly mushy, fish slices were very thin, and tempura was overly fried. Rolls were falling apart/loose (probably because of the overly moist rice)

Really disappointed I received the wrong soy sauce. As silly as it sounds I only ordered the food for the soy sauce (tamari). And most my order is bland food so not good without the tamari.

I don’t how this nigga Ricky make his sushi but ever since I decided to try it on DoorDash one day I get sushi from here at least 1-2 times a week. I’ve never been there as I’ve only ordered through DoorDash but the consistency it has and the fact that it tastes better than most places when ordered online def says something. The dragon roll is my go to, best I’ve had for the price. I usually don’t spend more $15 on food but Ricky got me spending at least $30 and I’m happy every damn time. I have never left a food review but I ordered some tonight and got some amazing free miso soup, cheers to all the people there

I was so nervous about food cart sushi. I had a bad sushi experience before and it just stays with me at every food cart pod. I finally broke down and gave this place a try. So glad I did. The tuna texture was perfect, great mouth feel, and the spicy wasn't too spicy. You could take all the elements and then it just gets you that gentle kiss of heat. The tempura was crispy and fresh. The miso soup wasn't terrible (not a miso soup fan but a great way to know what you're in for)...it was actually very nice. I think this is a great little gem to try if you're in the area and ask the person what they recommend. Great way to try something new or get a better sense of what's the freshest that day.

fav sushi spot !!

I am here.... regularly. The prices and portion sizes cannot be beat. $20 easily gets you 2-3 veg rolls, plus they have sushi burritos, and vegan friendly appetizers such as seaweed salad and fresh sesame balls. They have vegan cream cheese and spicy mayo sauce to convert all your sushi cart favs into plant based treats. My go to rolls are the super veggie, vegan asparagus tempura, and avo roll for only $3.

Vegetarian options: Ricky's has an excellent selection of vegan and vegetarian rolls! My favorite is the veggie tempura roll with tempura sweet potatoes and avocado.

Dietary restrictions: They have vegan and vegetarian and gluten free options!

Parking: It's easiest to park on 83rd.

Kid-friendliness: This is a kid-friendly food cart pod.

We had the okra roll, the jalapeño popper roll, the veggie tempura roll, the tofu roll, and the avocado and cucumber mini rolls. It turned out to be more food than needed for two people, but everything was great. We especially loved the okra and veggie tempura rolls. The people working there knew exactly what vegan meant and used vegan cream cheese and mayo, etc. Looking forward to trying more of their vegan menu in the future.

I was a little bit hesitant getting raw fish from a cart instead of a restaurant. But let me tell you that it is some of the freshest sushi I’ve had in Portland. The rolls are made after you order. The fish is fresh and the avocado was even more delicious really good food. All of the carts near by make it easy for everyone to find a bite to enjoy. I ordered a mango shake next door and that was phenomenal as well.

This place is awesome. I religiously order the fried jalapeno sushi burrito. I can't stop. The people who work here are awesome too. Super kind people who make delicious food. Bless y'all ?
