Staff was amazed, food was amazing. There was a large loud family in the section of the dinning room we were in and that made it hard to hear or have conversations, especially as we were in a smaller room off the dining room.
I'd heard Ringside was solid and it didn't disappoint. Got the small onion rings (not so small, more than enough for two.) and 1/2 dozen oysters to start. Both delicious. I think there was bleu cheese in the sauce? Super good. We were celebrating a birthday and our server AND hostess both mentioned it which was nice. Everything was so on point. What a wonderful, consistently superb, iconic steak house that ranks among the best in the country. From the friendly greeting to 5-star service and the finest steaks…the only thing better are the homemade desserts. Our own James Beard added his stamp of approval for the best French fried onion rings to be found…and indeed they are a heavenly addiction. A favorite among Portland’s bountiful dining options. ?.
