Pastor is solid, and the salsas are all really good. The tacos come out greasy in the best way—super flavorful and satisfying. The space itself could use a little lift, but it also kind of works with the laid-back vibe they’re going for.

So many tacos! Was a big fan of the langua (Even if it wasn't shredded, hard to find that here)
The Agave selection was amazing. So many off the chart mezcals and tequilas and raicillas. You won't find this selection anywhere else

I’ve been coming here for years, but unfortunately this will be my last visit. I ordered two “giant” soft tacos, which the menu describes as being served on 8” flour tortillas. When I got home, they were on small 3–4” tortillas instead — at $8.50 each. If they were out of the larger tortillas, I should have been told and given two smaller tacos, but as it stands, it feels like false advertising.
On top of that, the bottles of salsa were sitting out with flies in the spouts, which is unacceptable. The place has been on a steady decline for a while now, with prices creeping up to the point of being unreasonable ($5 for a basic taco?!), and this was the final straw for me.
I won’t be returning.

I literally hate to do this- but damn. This has been one of my favorite spots in Portland for years as a vegan. Came here after a bartending shift for good late night food and was served a chicken burrito with cheese instead of a vegan burrito. Threw up all night. Told the waitstaff and was given $15 in cash back and offered another burrito, which I knew I wouldn’t want and knew I would be sick the next day.
People don’t understand that when you don’t eat meat for a long period of time, it turns into an allergy of sorts. I will be sick for days. I called back to dispute my charge and tip and was “handed to a manager” who abruptly hung up on me. Sad to say I can no longer endorse this place.
Best Lengua burrito in the city. Braised and crisped, as it should be. Lovely humans and lovely food.

Fun popular spot, friends and I like to visit this place a couple times a month. Staff is always friendly, tacos are tasty, and they have some great entrees + great selection of custom and classic cocktails. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

Amazing food - I tried chicken and vegan options, and ended up coming back for another visit, when I tried the burrito. There was a nice selection of sauces, and the atmosphere was casual and relaxed. The staff was friendly and made sure everything was good without hovering around the table. The neighborhood is dealing with homelessness and hard drug use on the street.

My third time being here where the service was beyond anything I’ve seen in Portland. A stocked bar, really good food, and service you won’t find elsewhere. It won’t disappoint !
