I discovered Romero's Salsa at the farmers market and I fell in love with their guacamole. I would always stop by Romero's Kitchen to check if they have their guacamole containers available. They always sell out and it's only available during the farmers market season. It's very fresh tasting and there's no preservatives! It has the perfect chunky consistency, which I love. I bought 2 this time and they gave me a free one! So generous!

BEST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD IN PORTLAND!! This family is from Mexico and you can taste it! Every meal feels like I'm at my abuelas house enjoying a delicious meal! Please try the Flan!!! It's the best kept secret in Portland! The entire crew is amazing! Skip Taco Bell and come support a local spot!

yeah - absolutley outstanding. While their prices aren't the cheapest around it's probably the best quality burrito bowl you'll ever come across in portland--2nd only to JR mexican food up the street! These guys also arguably give you two sides of the best salsa i've probably ever tasted--i think they use roasted hatch chilis in-house. The ingredients are fresh, generous portions of meat, comes out pretty fast in sturdy containers and outdoor seating on a nicer day. This was a slam dunk and now one of my regular go-to places easily thanks romeros!

We ordered delivery from here last night, and it was a bit of a mixed bag! First I will say that I got the carne asada burrito and it was literally one of THE best burritos I've ever had in my life. I'm originally from S. California and have very high standards when it comes to Mexican food. This burrito was TOP NOTCH. 10/10 I had a bite of the carne asada quesadilla and it was good, too! 9/10 But there are reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5... The tacos were just okay, at best. And for the price? Totally not worth it. They should be at least $1.25 less each, for what you get and how it tastes. My husband ordered 4 and was underwhelmed and still hungry afterwards. I'm not expecting .99 tacos, I know everything is more expensive these days! But for nearly $4 a pop, we would not order these again. Also, we were supposed to get a free Jaritos with our order, and it wasn't included. Not a huge deal, but if you are running a promotion like that, you should really honor it. And lastly, this is a highly personal-taste thing, but their medium salsa was REALLY hot to me. I like spicy... but mild to medium is usually all I can take. If you like spicy, you will probably enjoy their salsas! All in all, I would go again, but I would probably only get the burrito!

Delicious empenadas! I was impressed. They were great the first time and they were fantastic when I heated them up. There were three people who came behind me and ordered in the middle of the afternoon. They know a great place. Outside tables which were very nice. I am coming back.

This place gave me E. Coli. I have been sick for almost 2 weeks because of their food. Don't eat here.

I ordered the enchilada plate (because apparently they couldn’t make tacos) and my partner got the asada burrito. The enchiladas were the smallest I’ve ever had. The sauce was good but there was such a small amount of meat in them. The salsa was decent. The burrito was average. Thank goodness I had my own chips at home to fill me up. $32 including tip was a bit steep.

Best tacos I've had in awhile. Great salsas and I tried a sampling of tacos and the al pastor was my favorite.

I usually get the asada combo plate and sit at the picnic tables. The asada fries, fajitas, and burrito bowl are also good.
