Older woman, who I presume is the owner, walked in off the street, hung up her purse, and proceeded to handle our and other food without washing her hands. NOPE.

I'm not a clean freak, but in food service, you gotta wash your damn hands.

If you're looking for that true Portland vibe in a local spot, look no further! This place is a gem. The staff are incredibly kind, funny, and they actually remember who you are—which makes every visit feel personal and welcoming. Delaney and Jillian are absolute stars—always greeting you with a warm hello and quick to take your order with a smile.

The food? Fresh, delicious, and there's truly something for everyone. Whether you're just grabbing a bite or sticking around for one of their fun events, the cozy, relaxed atmosphere makes it easy to settle in and enjoy. Can't recommend this place enough!

Great little spot, perfectly placed directly across the street from my Airbnb! Excellent coffee, nice selection of beer and wine, and great food. The person who whined about the avocado toast should have spent 3 more dollars to get the breakfast burrito, it was amazing!

staff is very nice but don’t seem to know how to pull espresso shots. i’ve probably been a good 10 times at least and have never enjoyed my coffee. management or ownership is not kind. if you’re new to town, new to the neighborhood, are not white, are not over the age of 65, you won’t feel welcome. do NOT order the avocado toast. it’s just cream cheese toast with a sprinkle of 1/8 of an avocado.

This is a great little neighborhood spot with good hot sandwiches and a nice breakfast burrito but they need a little work. The food takes way too long. I’m talking roasting a small chicken long sometimes, not just heating up and melting cheese on deli meat long. Rarely I’ve ordered with a long line of tickets either. This has swayed me from grabbing lunch before work because an hour simply isn’t enough time to order, wait, eat, and drive. If you get a coffee drink expect to wait 10 mins at least because if someone comes to the register they will just stop making your drink. That is honestly unacceptable from one service industry worker to another. Finish what you started and make that first customer feel considered and respected, tips will get bigger if you put them first because the person at the register will see it as good service they’re about to get. With all that said, I say it with love because this place has a great community and much potential and delicious food! Lastly, I would LOVE if breakfast was extended at least an hour, until noon.

I had a Ross Island BLT. It was yummy. Loved the music by Patrick.
