Rovente Pizzeria - Hawthorne

The pizza is great. The app is terrible. It always takes me at least 3 or 4 tries to order. It never accepts my credit card on file, so I have to enter it as a new card, and occasionally it asks me for my card number. Most of the time it doesn't work. Whenever my credit card is rejected, it clears the cart so I have to start over. Was this app written by a middle schooler?

I had a large Rovente combo It’s been a long time since I’ve been there. It used to be really Good at this time, I had a bad experience. The pizza was Soggy the dough was soggy only the edge were crispy too much sauce or something not good. We’re not go there ever again to that location. I don’t know if it matters what location you go to, but the pizza just isn’t what it used to be there. A good pizza supposed to be crispy, not soggy

Great pizza with an amazing crust. Guy who served us was super cool and friendly. Sunlight rich corner with full windows. Not to busy so if youre looking to get a slice and enjoy some alone time this is a good place.

Fresh pizza, handcrafted just for me? Yes please. Worker was pleasant enough, food was delicious. A little expensive, but what isn’t these days, but check the pictures, didn’t skimp on serving size.
Atmosphere was good with some nice musics playing in the background to the sound of cars driving by.

I absolutely hate walking by this pizza place.

It smells so good, and every time I pass by, I'm torn between running in to grab a slice and avoiding it so I don't end up craving pizza all day!

The aroma is practically irresistible, drawing you in with promises of cheesy perfection. Once you take that first bite, you're hooked.

It used to be a slight trek, but now it's so close I can practically smell the deliciousness from my front porch.

And to make matters worse, they had to set up shop right between my work and home, making it impossible to resist!

Great take out special.

Super grateful for this place. Awesome to have a super solid pizza spot near work, and the customer service is perfect. If you miss old school Portland vibes, this is the place to go for a slice. Their pepperoni slices are particularly good.

The first time I ate at the restaurant it was pretty good. I had a cheese pizza and it wasn't the best I've had but it was ok.
BUT!!!!
SECOND EXPERIENCE WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE AT A REATRAUNT IN MY LIFE!!! There were hairs baked into my veggie pizza right before work and I was literally gagging for a long time after the fact. 🤢 Never again
