This place is amazing. The pizza is always hot, tastes fresh and well worth the wait & money. I have a go-to order, and every time is just like the first time.

Great pizza! Chicago square style. Super tasty and like how they put the red sauce on top of the one we got so it wasn't soggy. Salad was nice and big. Server was nice but forgot our beer. Not sure if she wrote down our order or not /human error. Would come back though, really good pizza and salad.

This is probably one of my favorite pizza spots in Portland. Amazing Detroit style pizza and I enjoyed the cocktail and wine I got there too

First time visiting (used to come regularly when it was Please Louise) on a busy Friday evening (5:00) & were promptly seated. Drink orders were made in a reasonable time (although I agree with another reviewer that the $8.50 cost of the beer is a bit higher than usual). Pizza took a while to come (ours arrived some time after the family next to us got theirs after they had arrived after us), but all & all not bad for as busy as they were. Unfortunately the pizza was disappointing as we could not really taste the sausage or the fennel through the tomato sauce and whipped Ricotta florets. Crust was as expected for this Detroit style pizza. Prices for the pies were similar to Please Louise, but not sure we will return any time soon.

The place is busy and has a good atmosphere. Pleasantly surprised for the quick seating at the bar.
Pizza is good! Thick crust, fresh burrata cheese and flavorful red sauce.
The black truffle Caesar was mediocre at best. Some of the lettuce plated had browned, needed more flavor, texture and or Dressing. $14 salad is not worth it here.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, friendly welcome. Seated promptly and given water and menus. We ordered some specialty drinks that were spot on, very delicious. Ordered a (pizza) pie and salad. Both, you could tell were made with quality ingredients with a taste to match. Loved both. Service was awesome. My new go to place.

Great pizza and drinks as is the usual for Ruse/CC. Prices seem a bit higher at this location though.

$8.50 a beer is pretty steep and this place has a lot of competition with Scotties, Pizza Thief, Straight from New York, Ranch, Life of Pi and Wildchild all in the same vicinity serving similar pizza for the same price. If they implement a happy hour, maybe it could help but thereβs the same identity plentiful in this neighborhood. Hope they succeed though.
