In our never ending quest to eat every gyro in Portland, Safari does not disappoint. Monster portions, as in one gyro was plenty for 2 people, fresh and exotic side sauces, and the green salad was great too, I forget what it was called. All I need to know I learned in grade school:And thats All Four Food Groups in the pyramid!(Were in this excellent meal)

Stopped by late night for a late night eats. The service was warming and friendly. The gyro meat is cooked exactly to the liking of my picky eater. Not too thick that it feels uncooked and not too thin that it's burnt but just right. They have different types of drinks that are similar to orange soda and grape soda, they are both quite yummy and do not taste so syrupy like the ones we have here in the states. We will most definitely be coming back.

This place is legit! Let’s be real, by far one of the best gyros in the country let alone Portland. Staying nearby while traveling through on a cross country trip and thankfully the fiancé was craving gyros. Let’s just say, it’s been a long time since I’ve had a gyro taste like this (Overseas), so this was pure nostalgia in a bite. Unreal. Something is just... different and you can taste it instantly! I’m nottrying to sound like guy fiery here, and I hardly leave reviews, but this place is the real deal. I can’t recommend them enough if your looking for a wicked good gyro. Next time I’m in Portland area I will be stopping by Safari for sure. 5 star all around for sure & thanks again. Also great service and ownership clearly.
