Came in with some friends. They had patience of waiting for the long line but I did not. I just grabbed the pint of honey lavender flavor ice cream in their fridge then went straight to the cashier so I didnt have to wait in line. The ice cream was delicious and one of my favorite flavors, then 2nd would be blue cheese n pear flavor. The atmosphere was clean and the place smells like amazing vanilla scent because of the waffle cones they make there. One of my favorite ice cream places ❤️

I live in this neighborhood and have for ten years. I am not an ice cream person, yet my family is. I had a transaction issue that happened to me. The assistant manager at this location Matt, not only went above and beyond to assist me, he refunded my transaction which was well over $20.
It’s easy to complain, but it’s harder to speak when excellent customer service is a foot. Thank you to that assistant manager Matt and Salt & Straw for a being a pillar of our community here in the alphabet district of northwest Portland!

Captain's berried treasure was the best ice cream I've ever had. It was absolutely to die for. The flavors and textures were absolutely incredible. I also loved that they had several clearly marked vegan options on the menu. The service was good, and the atmosphere was cute. One scoop was a ton of ice cream and the price was just right. I cannot recommend this ice cream enough! Absolutely delicious.

Finally got to visit the original Salt & Straw in Portland last October while visiting friends on the weekend🤙
Enjoyed walking down to this place, its a different experience when its cold amd youre enjoying ice cream👍
Crowded place but the line moves quickly, got to try some if their limited edition flavors but in the end went with a more "traditional flavor" 😄
