We had the best experience! The food was fresh, hot, and SO flavorful! They employees were kind and very courteous. I came all the way from WI to eat Peruvian food from here for my birthday and it did not disappoint.

Picked up catered food for a wedding. It was amazing! The place is soooooo clean. Husband and wife team work so hard to make everything perfect. So happy we found you. Waaay better than any Peruvian restaurant in the area. Cookies and cheesecake are delicious. Lomo is super delicious and full of tender steak. Excellent customer service.

Salt & Pepper Perumex catered our wedding for 60+ guests and everything was delicious! Lupe was so sweet and helpful throughout the whole planning process, she made sure we had just the right amount of food (and we had plenty!). The Peruvian dishes were a huge hit with our Peruvian side & American side of the family. We originally found them by dining at the restaurant and now we go back every 2–3 weeks because we love it so much. They’ve become one of our favorites, and we’re so grateful they were a part of our day!

If this spot popped up because you were searching for lomo saltado, you want to come here. This is a dish I have tried from many spots, and this place will be my go to from now on. The meat is flavorful and delightfully tender. The onions were sweet, yet still had a little crunch to them. The tomatoes were tomatoes, which is to say they were there, but they would have had to have been pretty show stopping to rate against the steak and onion perfection happening. We also tried the chicha morada (purple corn beverage), it was sweet and bright. While the decor is minimal, the space is clean and it has an upbeat vibe.

Incredibly delicious!! We all enjoyed the ceviche , seco norteña, tacos al pastor and shrimp tacos!!

It’s my fourth or fifth time I come and it’s closed, I check schedules on the internet and it appears open and when I arrive it’s always closed ... now I talk to people from the place and they say they arrive and open when they want and always at different times .. it’s unfortunate to look for places where I can go to eat and have bad information on their pages or on Google ... I hope the same doesn’t happen to other people

Just started working next door recently and have been coming here quite often! The market is awesome and the restaurant is delicious! The lomo saltado is so good so is the purple corn drink and the cookies with dulce de leche!! Also photo was after I ate some already, came with good portions.

Salt and pepper restaurant is one of the hidden gems, and THE best meal of 2024. What it’s lacking an atmosphere is totally made up by amazing Peruvian cuisine.

I had the leg of lamb. We ordered the picarones, delightful Peruvian donuts. And we had a passionfruit beverage that was out of this world.

We’ve traveled a lot in Mexico and Salt and Pepper reminds me of the hidden gems of very delicious food: short on fancy decorations, and atmosphere, but incredibly delicious foods that are not part of American cuisine in a surprise and delight to the Tongue.
