Salty's on the Columbia River

Such great food!! It has an upscale feel while also feeling casual. The water view is so relaxing. The staff are friendly. Everything is clean.

Exceeded all expectations. One of the best meals I've had in Portland.

The views of the Columbia river are pretty much the only things this place has going for it. The food is between poor and mediocre and the server is constantly trying to up sell on items. For the price this place is not worth it even for the views. I have experienced it once and I will never be back again. My guess is as soon as the older generations are no more this restaurant will be no more as well.

I was very optimistic going in to the restaurant. It had a great retro feel to it and a wonderful view. The staff was friendly and casual. The menu had a good variety of options and something for everyone. Our table of 5 split the $100 seafood platter, which we didn't finish. It felt very much like it was thrown together at a grocery store. The dungeness crab wasnt fresh and smelled freezer burnt. I had a cup of the chowder which was the best part of the meal, it was great. I ordered the NY steak, medium and subbed Brussels for creamed kale. The steak came out luke warm and pretty flavorless. I finished the steak, but barely touched the flavorless sides. The other 4 at the table didnt finish their meals either. Overall the location and staff were nice but the food didn't match the price.

Riverfront restaurants have a role in protecting salmon, not stressing them further. I urge you to remove Chinook salmon from the menu and prioritize sustainable seafood options.

Legit restaurant on the Columbia. Good service and atmosphere.

Dirty outside,.we had a reservation and still waited 20 minutes for a table and the place was 1/2 full definitely not worth the prices

Wonderful place!

I have been here multiple times for different events(father’s days, birthdays, retirement parties, etc). Every time we come we always have great service, knowledgeable staff, and fantastic food. I could not recommend this restaurant more, and the location is beautiful. We had absolutely fantastic experiences with Zach and Danelle this week and look forward to recommending to friends and family.
