Disappointed. Appetizers tasted like prefab bar food. Drinks and chowder were excellent but three out of four entrees were subpar. Best Friends was the only entree worth half the price of what we paid. Service started strong but fell off, not just for us but for everyone near is. Maybe Monday night was an off night. But $400 for four of us, not anything would convince us to try it again when every meal we had on our vacation, except for this one, is a must repeat next time we are in town.
Everything was great! Power went out about 3/4 of the way through our meal but other than that everything was perfect
Drove into PDX for an Anniversary Lunch at Salty's. It was great !!! Exceptional service, food and wine. The table was specially set for the occasion, a nice touch.
Wow!!! We stopped here for a date night while visiting and everything was just amazing. From the food, staff, the views! Highly highly recommend!
Salty is always a wonderful place to eat. The service is excellent. The food is delightful and the view of the Columbia river is unbeatable! If you haven't been to this restaurant at a must!
I have had the crab mac n'cheese a number of times, but this time it was too salty for my taste. My waiter, Erica, was excellent.
We've been coming to Salty's for many years and ti was better than ever. Our dinner was pricy but superb.
We went to Salty's for a birthday celebration. We got a great table with a view of the Columbia River. Our only negative was that they had overcooked the prime rib and the best they had at the time was cooked medium to medium well. The manager was able to get them to slice some that was still cooking and she personally brought it to our table. Otherwise everything was excellent!
Excellent food, service and value. It's a loud restaurant when the place packs in, but the view of the river is beautiful.
Beautiful location on the Columbia River. Restaurant decor is dated. Seafood chowder was very good, fish was over cooked and dry. Felt like a mix of good and bad. Rather pricey for poorly cooked fish. Great server!

Aaron was wonderful, engaging, kind, and very attentive. Birthday confetti and card was such a beautiful touch (glad we booked through OpenTable, the restaurant paid attention to the celebration and the preferences I noted). Entrees were excellent (we got Mahi Mahi and Steelhead) but some of the vegetable sides I would rethink (bok choy, for example, was just nasty and the peppers and jalapeños were also unappetizing with the Steelhead). Desserts were absolutely incredible. Oh. My. Goodness. Got the white chocolate mousse cake for our birthday treat and the apple galette. both absolutely delicious. The almond mousse with the apple galette. Wow. View was fun (watched a blue heron fish and a couple of sailboats go by). Proximity to airport huge bonus (flying home right after a great birthday lunch with my sis). Excellent experience.
Family from OR.CA, IL, and WA gathers for a goodbye supper after the day before wedding. Amed was polite, informative and overall an asset to your establishment. Appetizers Corn polenta grits crab cake artichoke crab dip and crab macaroni & cheese Entrees: smoked steel head shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo, side of Buttered mushrooms. NOT ONE Complaint! Dessert: key lime pie, Crème brûlée and white chocolates cake DEVINE 🩷 My husband and I will be back for the all you can eat seafood buffet💕
$25 for a flavorless crab dip is diabolical and just wrong in every way. Then when reaching out about your experience you hear crickets.
Excellent view, definitely come for the view and a table on the water or next to the window. They have an excellent wine selection, bust you should expect to pay triple for a bottle. Their selection of hard liquor is above average, and the food is good. I'm pretty picky about my dessert selection, so check the menu.

Haven't been here in years and I remember it being quite fantastic. My return was no disappointment. The atmosphere is amazing; the views are equally amazing; the service and food were impeccable; and the live jazz band was the perfect touch to an amazing dinner on an amazing Friday night.
