“Located inside the Springwater Food Cart pod. Ate the pupusa under the covered seating area with the birds. Enjoyed the Loroco Pupusa more than the pork one. The cheese in it tasted vibrant but couldn't taste the Loroco flower itself which tastes like a combination of a mild, sweet, and earthy vegetable with subtle nutty and floral notes, often compared to mild broccoli, chard, asparagus, or squash. It has a unique, pungent, and sometimes tangy flavor with a slightly acidic aftertaste.“

“My tendency would be to come here for the pupusas because pupusas this good are not that prevalent in Portland. These are excellent and or formed fresh from scratch. The price per pupusa is slightly higher than average but these are bigger than average. I'm a big eater and made a full lunch out of two pupusas plus small chips and salsa.
Edit upon further visits, the Chile Relleno is one of the biggest and best in PDX. SEE PHOTO“

“Best pupusas in the area! Love getting their Desayuno #3 with fried plantains, beans, and crema on the side. Their Yuca Frita Con Chicharron and sweet Empanadas are also delicious. I order 3-4 times a month and it never disappoints. Love this place!“

“Had the pleasure of conversing with the business owners while waiting for my order. They’re very kind and thoughtful overall as they didn’t hesitate to make me and my husband feel at home especially after I mentioned we’re new to the state of Oregon/city of Portland.
Their food is so tasty! I tried their corn tamal, champurrado (not sure if this is seasonal) and it brought me back to the home cooked meals I’ve been missing from my mom and tia. I had their pupusas to go (loroco and a revuelto) where I enjoyed them at home and they held perfectly fine during my commute.
I’d recommend this spot for an authentic bite served by the friendliest people. You can’t go wrong with any menu item.“
