We split the pastrami zombie with a cup of tomato soup ate outside, and we are in heaven. The sandwich was delicious, we asked for toasted bread, which made the whole thing warm and perfect. We ate outside, which was our only choice and it was a chilly day so it was a little cold waiting for our sandwich. However in a few months, they’re going to be opening an inside with tables TVs looks like a good situation.

BEEF!!! Do yourself a favor and head on over to this awesome establishment and order yourself a Chicago Italian Beef with Provolone and make sure to get it dipped?
Pro Tip: layout your potato chips under the sandwich as you eat it and let those salty potato discs soak up all that glorious beef flavor dripping from your sandwich, and make sure to keep dipping that sandwich in au jus until the bread is on the verge of falling apart.

I had a spiritual experience eating the Porkstrami ?If they ask, always add giardiniera. Absolutely out of this world flavor. The tuna was excellent as well. The key ingredient though is Chef Mel. She's amazing! So funny and kind. You can really feel the heart she puts into Sammich. This is hands down my fav sandwich spot in PDX.

Wow what a surprise! Really tasty sandwich meats and great soft baguettes baked locally. I’m not one for pastrami, it’s always too salty for me, but their pork version was so mouthwatering. These are not standard sandwiches, and not that over smoked taste of Texas BBQ.

So far I’ve had the cubano, heirloom tomato BLT (seasonal) and zombie slaw and all were fantastic. Don’t sleep on the slaw, it’s the perfect spicy, vinegar-y side to any sandwich. I can’t wait to try the Chicago beef!
