Ordered the chicken thigh & spicy ginger beef box with white rice, veggies, and a scoop of Mac salad and my goodness was I taken aback by how delicious and hearty the meal was. Total bang for your buck and well worth the wait as you can tell the gentleman running the truck is cooking it all up hot & fresh. The veggie medley was insanely good. It was all extremely flavorful, and he has an abundance of dips & sauces to jazz up your meal further. Definitely worthy of being the food king of the corner on that sidewalk.

The guy serving the food is a total jerk. My hubby ordered food on grub hub, drove all the way there and the guy said he had shut off online orders . When he was shown the order and that we were charged, he could care less. He offered no refund or solution. I had to contact grub hub to get refunded with zero apology or anything from him. He acted annoyed as if it’s our fault that the order went through. Used to come all the time, but never again .

Quality and hours have been hit and miss at this cart over the last several years, but I recently gave it another try and I was very impressed by the quality, quantity, and speed! The ginger beef was lean and tender, cooked to a perfect medium on the flat griddle. The texture of the rice and veggies was spot on, and a scoop of mac salad was a clutch addition (so glad I can eat that gluten!). There are plenty of lunch options within walking distance of this cart in Sellwood, but I think Wayhi is the best bang for your buck.

Food was exceptional! Very tasty and great portions! I had the chicken breast with half white rice/noodles & veggies! & I got a 2nd plate with white rice and spicy ginger beef! It did not disappoint at all! This def will be new go to spot in the neighborhood!
Delicious rice and noodles, topped with beautifully cooked chicken and veggies with just the right amount of char. The self-service sauce selection is second to none (teriyaki, peanut, Sriracha, sweet chili, and others). Service was fast, quick, and neighborly!
This is the only food cart where I can get a lunch under $15, and not only is it delicious but I'm FULL when I'm done. Get the chicken thighs with rice and veggies, and dont forget to add peanut sauce. Simple and satisfying.
