We've been faithful customers for as long as I (Dana) can remember. Sarku is a tried-and-true favorite. The food is delicious, and portions are huge. They will cheerfully make any requested customizations, and offer plenty of add-ons to meals (extra meat, appetizers, tempura shrimp, etc.). Overall, Sarku is a pretty healthy choice, too.

I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid, for over 15 years, and every time it’s delicious, hot, and fresh. The only reason I ever go to the mall is to eat a plate of the best teriyaki chicken you can get in the country. I even go out of my way to celebrate my birthday with a plate of Sarku. My plate is always CLEARED. Best food at any mall, no one comes close. I’ll keep coming here till the end of time for the best teriyaki chicken, and make sure you ask for a scoop of teriyaki sauce on top with their teriyaki chicken with extra chicken!

Probably my favorite restaurant in the food court because the food comes to you hot and tasty; you can see it being made in front of you if you want to watch. The menu is quite limited with only a couple of teriyaki meats, shrimp, and a few Japanese-inspired appetizers; however, what they have is very reasonably priced and serving sizes are adequate. Their teriyaki sauce is seriously addictive; even though I've had better, I can't help but regularly crave them. Sometimes they have a Tuesday deal where meals are cheaper, but their discounts are not quite consistent. Some of the employees are friendlier than others, and sometimes the lines are really long, so the experience can be less pleasant at times, especially during the weekend. Overall though it's a solid deal and they churn orders out pretty quickly, I usually recommend it to others.

Hot and fresh. I ordered the beef teriyaki with rice and vegetables. The beef was tender and delicious. Pour an extra little full of teriyaki sauce onto my rice. The vegetables were freshly cooked and delicious. Staff was pleasant and extremely efficient at their job. If you’re at Washington Square, Mall this is a great value. Spent $10.59. Very happy with my lunch.

I just want to say I really appreciate your employee's honesty. When I went to pickup my food one of the cooks asks if I ordered 3 meals. I said No, I only ordered 2. So he ask me to wait and he would refund me for the 1 meal I didn't order. This is very rare quality nowadays and is very much appreciated. Especially when he could of just as easily kept the money. You should be very proud of your employee's integrity.
