We've ordered takeout/delivery multiple times over the past couple years and have always been satisfied. Tonight we received the most bland pad kee mao I've ever had, anywhere. I'm relatively certain no sauce was used. Odd. Note the complete lack of color in the photo. Also asked for 4 out of 5 for spice and it wasn't hot at all. Perhaps we ordered too close to closing time.

Such amazing food, I got the curry, egg rolls and crab wonton and im obsessed with this dipping sauce! And the curry, made in front of my eyes while speaking to the incredibly kind and talented Tevin who made it! Watching everything get prepared fresh and then tasting it when I got home was a ten out of ten experience. Dont sleep on this place. Best Thai food around 👏def gonna be a regular now

I’ve been getting delicious food from Sawasdee for 20 years! First, at their food truck downtown at Alder / SW 9th before the high-rise was built and now at their restaurant in NW. The food is always delicious and even though I no longer live in Portland, I always come to grab a meal whenever I visit! And they still know my favorite order! House special curry with tofu, brown rice, medium spice.

Nothing was outwardly terrible. There’s just too much great Thai places to be spending $16 on a meal that has little to no flavor. Underwhelming, has potential.

This restaurant leaves a large dumpster and a blue garbage container outside their locked gate on the sidewalk as a permanent place to store their trash. It is the only one in all of slabtown let exposed on the sidewalk. Not only does it smell but the homeless use the trash containers as a source to eat out. They dump the garbage on the sidewalk until a neighbor picks it up. Sometimes it blows all over the neighborhood. I wish the restaurant would show some consideration for the homeless and the neighbors and put their trash containers behind the locked gate!

Went to swasdee thai, service was fast i, it caters more for take out , the ambience was so so, they served the food in the tske out container , for dine in too . That was unusual, the place was busy with takeout order, i will not recommend this place
