Don't walk past this hole in the wall style dinner. Excellent boozy drinks & definitely get the Salmon Benedict, ask for extra hollandaise sauce....Best Salmon Bennie under $18 I've had in Portland!

One of my favorite places to visit for a great meal or just something light, last visit it was fish and chips for my wife and french dip for myself both excellent and really hot from the kitchen, I am a repeat customer and have tried many of the items on the menu and never been disappointed, salads served fresh and cold as it should be, the homemade vinegarette dressing is outstanding, all with friendly, helpful staff providing quick and pleasant service as well as a layed back atmosphere ?

Better than screen door for the chicken amd wafflea imo especially cause the service and prices and everything I don't see any difference really but I'd say this place is one of the best quality of foods I've had in a while best

FORMER REVIEW:
Our two last visits were subpar. Ribs were chewy, not tender.
Meatloaf was burned. Not sure why it has changed.
Update:
Thought we would give this place another try. It used to be really good.
My "grilled chicken club " was not good. Chicken was white without any grill marks or visible seasoning.
Tasteless. It was served on a small hamburger bun - not my idea of a club sandwich. The side of cole slaw looked and tasted like the slaw mix from Trader Joe's.
Cost - $14.50.

I live out of state and was lucky enough to visit this establishment because of a very special retirement party. The staff and food was amazing. If I ever venture back towards Portland, I will make sure to stop in for some more good times.

Great staff, very nice, quick to seat us (party of 8). Food was very good. The hollandaise was good on flavor but a bit thin and with some chunks... but overall, we'll be back.

Everyone who works here is so kind and we always have a wonderful time. Outdoor seating is great for when we bring the dog.
